My Golden is my third child. No matter what kind of day I had or what kind of weird shit is going on in the world, she meets me at the door every day tail wagging wanting her hugs. She turns 11 next month. She is healthy and active, but 11 is getting up there for my girl. My wife and my little boy will take it hard when it is her time. I’m looking for a puppy right now while Trixie is still with us, hoping that she will learn a few things from the best dog I’ve ever had.

My cat is nine I forgot time so right now she is recovering great from surgery eating energy excellent but I too think hey life is ending sheesh how morbid ??

My girl who I rescued only 8 months ago, died suddenly a couple weeks back on Xmas AM. (Had an unknown heart issue).
Missing her so much. My other guy we had for 13 years (Shepherd/Rotty mix) passed 1.5 years ago at age 13 (cancer) knew it was coming and was able to prepare a bit. (Still cried).

Really fell in love with this one who just passed, still very saddened / depressed over it. She would have turned only 3 on New Years day...

Yeah mane. Having a dog is just like a kid. Doctors appointments, feeding them, and etc.

OK..If y'all don't mind I think I've found my new home. Any group of people that have pets and care for them the way you guys do is the type of people I want to hang with.
I have the privilege of being the caretaker of 3 dogs and 2 cats. Most times I'd rather hang out with my dogs than be around people.
