Good dose to start insulin

taking 30IU per day I switched 15 post and 15 pre bc of this post and i am liking it. :)

I'm doing 5ius pre and the scale has skyrocketed in a weeks time and no increase in waist size. Glycogen and water stores in sure. I follow a very low carb diet on non training days and only consume carbs around workouts and I'm up 7lbs...
Pumps=incredible and almost painful :)

I think this ^ might be the best way to take insulin alone.
 
Anyone have any suggestions on a good dose to start insulin? I'm thinking about just starting at 5 units and going from there. Any thoughts or opinions are welcomed.

I've used insulin on and off for years, it's only as dangerous as a person is ignorant about the effects and the way to use it. From dnp to insulin I've used them both. In fact I probably was one of the first few people to use dnp after sitting through a Dan Duchaine seminar at strong and shapely gym. I still have the cassette tape of the seminar and actually wrote a article ina now defunct muscle rag. Dans idea included insulin and dnp together...
So I appreciate the concern, and understand the risks. I was just looking for some feedback of where others have started their protocol. In the past I've worked up to 10 units a day...

As long as you take your feedings then you know your fine- people blow this out of proportion - Take you feedings no issues - keep OJ or sugar tabs on hand for emergency- Its actually so simple to use its stupid and long term probably more effective and safer then any steroid LMAO- but people dont get it- Ive went as high as 30iu but 5 iu perfect and only increase by 5 at time
 
Some of my best growth was while I was on insulin. Mind you I had some of the best in the Buisness guiding me. Here is what Milos told me a few years ago. I start at 5iu btw.

Why?
You want to use power of insulin and ability to store all the nutrients found in blood stream to one tissue only - muscle tissue - and blood is in muscle up to 60% only during the training...while at rest maybe 10%...
Ladies have 4-5 litters of blood and guys 5-6...so think of the difference from 10% to 60%...
I would easily start you with 5 units of HUMALOG or Humalin R. exactly 45 minutes before your training.
Insulin will be in your bloodstream in 15 minutes...peak in 45...have strong action up until second hour after injection and then slowly leave your body...and be gone in 4 hours after the shot...
So, IF you know these facts - you just need to do this:
Take one banana with your shot...
15 min later take 10 grams of EAA's 2 grams of L-Carnitine 5 grams of creatine 2 grams of Beta Alanine 10 ounces of GATORADE (17 grams of carbs)
When you start training IN BETWEEN SETS drink your workout drink:
5 g of EAA 10 g of BCAA 10 ounces of GATORADE (which is HALF of 20 oz bottle) 50 grams of VITARGO
Right after training - take WHEY protein
Hour later have 50 grams of carbs (rice or potato...) with your protein source..." -MS

Can I get someone else’s opinion on this? I like it, I would start with 2IU.

Metformin + Insulin sound like a winning combo.
