Favorite Triceps Exercise

Overhead cable ( stack behind me ) rope, or V-hadle extension's.

Seated DB one arm overhead ext. ( Long Head )

Cable pushdowns, kickbacks and weighted dips

Decline skull crushers and dips with some push downs

I've never tried decline skull crushers before. Those sound kickass! Regular skull crushers have always been a big part of my tricep routine.

Definitely gonna try the decline ones tomorrow.

I love triset with cable rope push down, overhead cable extensions, and reverse grip cable pull-down.

Been doing that last one myself with a single "loop" handle, but there's also a straight handle, that has a ridge on the one end, thus preventing your hand to slip past, hard to explain, but much like a pipe, with a raised edge so-to-speak, opposite the caribiner.

Those hit em'a bit different too, I too have been doing tri-sets on occasion. I must say (one of my weaker points, and has come up nicely since )

Trying to really "bomb" that long head, as it's 2/3 your arm size actually..! If fully developed.

Yessir, that one-arm DB overhead extension has done wonders for my triceps’ long heads.

Yes sirree, all these years training, and I only found out recently, that the long head "only" engages with arm 'overhead'....! & Has worked nicely, I just have to be careful with the insertion @the elbows (old guy)..! Lol...!

Guess I won’t be an original when I say: skullcrusher. The most comfortable way for me to do it is sitting on incline bench with angle 45 °- 60°. And second honorable mention: triceps pushdown with v-shape grip or rope.

I like weighted dips when I'm on point 2 45 plates chained to my belt really notice strength and growth. Like now I been on cycle 2 months can do 20 dips all the way down no problem so I will start doing these now. Somebody stole my belt will have to grab one before my next tri workout glad I seen this thread made me realize I was going easy in the Tris also will incorporate skullcrushers again I have not really been doing them since highschool and I'm 37.

Stop doing dips, I’m to heavy. I love push downs, and skull crushers, heavy shoulder width incline bench

Agreed, couldn’t have said it better, along with plate loaded hammer strength dip machine

Weighted dips and close grip bench.
