Anyone know where to find cortisone. Arthritis in my right shoulder is killer.

Prednisone
Dexy-Methnisone
Alot of other non Cortio-steroid anti-inflammatory's non narcotic of course...
Even different preparations of above...

Acne meds, anti-biotics alot of good Pharma products. Look there...

That’s something I’d be leary as fuck about doing myself.
It’s not just your typical IM injection
 
I have arthritis bad myself, am mechanic hands have been thru Hell and still are in Hell... elbows, ankles, shoulders have me bad....
When I get major edema and inflammation I take 15mg of prednisone for 7 days and then I am good.
Or a pack of Medrol.

The packs are designed to take u know first day 5-7 pills and like 1-2 less each day after. MethyPrednisone is stronger and last longer even once pack gone.
Same with Oral Dexamethasone!!

But with reg Prednisone I take at min dose possible at 2x a day. 15-20 mg a day for 5-7 days then lower dose for 2 days so body isn't shocked after...

Celebrex and many others available work well and better to use before the Corticosteroids

Maybe the OP meant oral as well. I just had the injection in mind that has that 3” needle involved lol.

Ouch and if something wrong is hit...nerve etc...
But I use corticosteroids as little as possible even oral...
They are double blade sword. But they stop some stuff going on sometimes, knocking out inflammation so healing can start...
I get neck from c5-c6 discs bulging, neck gets bad like 1x year. I get pack of Medrol from my Dr when it does. Never had the shot...
What helps neck too is traction, making separation between discs. Need one of those devices that around head and jaw and seats on shoulders, it has gauge for pressure and air hand pump!! Brother in-law has one. It works for neck!!

Lol...! Plus they have to "freeze"(spray freeze the area ) first. I could swear that BadBoy was 7" years ago, be t the doc & his assistant got right to Supraspinatus they the shoulder blade area, I looked back after the freeze part.
& I had probably only been a cycle or two in, so I've pinned enough, but that dagger whoa...!!

Also, I believe Cortisone "stays" in you, so you can only get so many CC's in total for life...? I think.?

Like the idea of quick oral run.. I agree no way I would self inject cortisone... plus I find it only masks problem and if you continue to push weights it will screw you up more long term.

Definitely agree on oral route.
And I only use when I have a killer sinus infection that anti-biotics are not knocking out and pain is severe with no draining, or if my hands, elbow, shoulder, or neck is in agony!! Swelling preventing me from sleeping and doing job!!!!

I am guilty, I take all oral meds like these from people who will no longer use them..
Alot of folks toss out after 1 year... well the liquid oral kids version of prednisone works for me even after 3 years old...

Lmao!!! I don't run to Dr and alot of this stuff, family or friends don't mind handing over. They all know I like the old stuff they throw out. I went as far as to tell them all I will buy a basket and y'all can put outdated stuff to throw out in basket and let me know when it has a fish or 2 in it...BUT I USE CAREFUL AND WITH CAUTION ONKY ANTI-BIOTICS AND CORTICOSTEROIDS
NO PAIN MEDS FOR ME!!!

Mine must be in orasweet!!! It's taste like sugar love taste... Wife will not use anything out of date on kids either...

This is our conversations at home... she says, "that milk, bread or eggs outdated yesterday"!!! I say, now u think that milk bread or eggs has a clue what day it is and at 12 midnight they go bad.... Lmao!!!
