Bleeding after injections

So we’ve all had this happen(I’m assuming)

Blood gushers/ bleeding after you pull the needle out.

So this is happened to me a few times during my last couple injections.

I pull the needle out of my glute and blood comes gushing out. Not just a little bit ....but a nice amount of blood lol

I know that I’m most likely hitting a vein on the way in or on the way out.

Do you guys think you possible lose some of your gear when you get a gusher post injection ?
In my mind I’m guessing NO but I’m not entirely sure, it always leaves me thinking I lost some gear due to the bleeding

I’ve had some gushers that shot out like 6feet and spray everywhere. You can usually smell the gear in the blood. So yeah you are definitely losing small amounts. But not nearly enough to affect anything.

Never had a gusher but have had a few leakers when pinning some thicker oils. I just cap it with an alcohol swab asap. Also you can load up a bit of extra oil if you're worried about the loss.

Oh yes I had a gusher before, when I did my first attempt at pinning quads and enough times pinning glutes. A real scary mess it was...yikes.

Yeah I had fun cleaning up the blood that gushed out into the floor...
So what do you think..do you think you lose some of your shot from the heavy bleeding ?

Its not uncommon for this to happen. Most likely your needle passed through a vein the after pulling your needle out blood passes through the lumen your nedle made. Its nothing to worry about my man. The amount of gear lost is negligible.

Same here, and one time it looked like someone got slaughtered in there..eek.

Maybe a little tiny bit, but not all as most of the oil is injected below where the bleeding is.

Its not uncommon for this to happen. Most likely your needle passed through a vein the after pulling your needle out blood passes through the lumen your nedle made. Its nothing to worry about my man. The amount of gear lost is negligible.

....especially if the correct length needle is used.

Yeah I’ve been using 1’ for glute injections for a while now. No problems.

Lol that typo got you skewered (pun). A 1' needle would be like a skewer!

As for a 1" needle I find that is my go to as 1.5" seems to be quite deep for me, as I ended up one time injecting INTO my shoulder joint where it caused irritation.

I actually prefer 1.5" for glutes and and 1" for other sites.

25 g. Bought like 500 of them...haven’t switched it up in a longggggg time

I’ve been using 23’s that’s what my source has Had one 25 and it slid in like butter. What a difference got to grab me some

500 pinz will keep you going for a good while and I liked the 25's myself but soon will switch to 27's

I use 1" 25g for my 3ccs, but really 5/8s would be long enough for me. I also use 1/2" 29g slin pins usually in my delts. They're great for when I'm just running a bit of test - at the moment 150mg every 3 days.

Nothing bigger than 23g.
