Any hockey fans? I been watching World Cup hockey and also getting a cap for my teams . It's like NHL all star teams tournament . The USA comprised of American born NHL stars Patrick Kane of Blackhawks is team USA capt . The team canada I watched this was a line : Sidney Crosby , Patrice Bergeron and Jonathan taves - normally these guys are like major rivals during season but now team mates. Team North America is like the all star rookie nhl kids of last year and number one draft as requirement is USA or Canadian NHL players that are under age 23 . Team Sweden has rangers goalie and few Pittsburg penguins like my favorite Carl haglan , bruins giant zdeno chara plays on tream Europe - I'm huge nhl fan so I'm like really loving this - just sent for thd World Cup tournament program on eBay along with team canada , USA and team na baseball caps . I'm digging now I got nfl season and before NHL starts I can watch all my guys in this tournament . Intersting as the players play in USA with NHL size rink , then fly to like sweaden play in much larger European regulation size rinks . Really cool - I'm not certain so anyone's correct me if wrong but I think the nhl is funding the tournament. Unlike the Olympics the players are getting paid , just I wonder how some players will fare in regular season if inujured or do they get tired ? No off season rest ? Or do hockey players get Better not resting ? Now as kid I played hockey year round age 5-age 15 on top of my other sports etc but I was a kid lol. My boston bruins zdeno chara way too old and slow already will be out of gas by nhl season - he needs to go two years ago lol
