Wickr gives trouble in and area. It needs
4G signal to receive encryption and sent.
I have had to Google can't open wickr messages and do this

Decryption Errors or Can't Unlock Messages

A decryption error describes the situation when one receives a message but cannot open, unlock, or view the contents.

A decryption error can occur if either the sender OR receiver's devices have poor signal strength. When connected to either a Wifi Network or Data network with low bandwidth the keys and content of the message may not transmit fully, resulting in an unreadable lock.

If you are encountering this issue please have the sender resend the message when they have a stronger WiFi signal, or are connected to a network with higher bandwidth.

If this issue persists please perform a fresh installation clearing out all your application data. (Uninstall, restart your device, reinstall Wickr)

Go to Wickr Settings, Account ScreenTap the X next to the current deviceDelete the app from your deviceRestart your deviceDownload Wickr from appropriate App StoreTap Login and enter your Wickr ID and Password

What I need wickr for customers questions or I have huge chain of emails . Then next day I go too ship packs and can't find any address or payment info because there's 4 pages of bullshit emails

Tonight at midnight they are upgrading
There security to encryption may change.
It's so said that they will offer it except of business paid versions. Which legit use that is 100% legal may have to be valid.

If pressure came down against wickr it's a chance not worth taking.

A hint on helping without posting in open forum is look for places that have privacy protection against the man

So I think it will be time to switch to another chat app, and Wire looks good and it has a web interface too which works well on my Linux workstation. The kicker is that there's video chat too in Wire.

AS for Wickr, now they require using video for verification of your contacts. Sounds dodgy to me.

Killing mine in an hour. Erasing shredding and removing app from device then deleting app!

Same here. From the sound of things Wickr is actually WEAKENING the protection on the free version and only the paid version will be very secure. I am sure there will be logs on the free version so LE can easily get hold of them in investigations. Inform all your contacts now on Wickr about the change.
 
Idk what really going on but has anyone had a random person you never seen before write you a weird comment and said to not speak to him on wickr and to hit him up on another chat thingy ?
