I use to be a lineman in the north by the lake so I know all about climbin poles in cold weather. Sucks. My face would freeze so bad that we couldnt understand each other on the radio cause our lips wouldnt move enough.

Daaaamn.... I did stucco and stone in Columbus and it got cold there, too. But we didn't work in those conditions.

Those lineman guys I always thought were hard workers and the electric company would have them working super long shift with barely enough time off to sleep.

Yes , those guys do brutal hours , and alot of times in very brutal cold condition's.

They are provided some of the best equipment on the market to get the job done, and "safely" (my hats off to them always) I've known a few, drank with a few.

They get paid very "handsomely" too, even in " downtime" .

Use to want to be one, had my app in for that and the Elevator local. I took a slightly different course, although similar, but "nothing" like the lineman in inclement condition's , this is what gets me when I hear certain clowns whine about, this , or that.

I call em' whiney ass management "bitch" snitches, or "Non-Hackers" haven't a clue what "real" work is about.

As I stated in an earlier thread, I'm once again having a blast with you all, like taking me back several years when I first belonged to a few forums. But ORD sorta changed all that, and I stayed away for awhile, even lost touch with Training ( too long ) but happy to be back at it exactly two years now, GainZ are coming back, have a lil' ways to go yet for my goals.

But , thank you... Very Noble gesture, I regard this place as
Second Home ( well maybe 3rd, work has that beat ), but
an extension of family if you will., Second family...! All my brothers from other mother's...!
