What do you guys do for work

I do all of the repair and maintenance of the equipment, tanning and hydrobeds and some building maintenance for nine gyms in a 90min radius from my home.

Free membership but it's not a bodybuilder gym so I do have memberships elsewhere depending on my work schedule and what body part I'm working.

Work is work and working out is separate, unless my schedule makes it impossible. Job pays very well. Been there ten years this week. The other gym is crunch. Unfortunate Gold's is 30min out of the way from my office.

Crunch is not a bad gym chain and I had a membership at one near where I once worked. Better gym than Planet Fatness and 9.95 a month membership was worth it.

Did construction for over 10 years. Just decided one day I didn't want to be busting my ass in my 50's or 60's and had always been thinking about school just putting it off forever. Started doing school full-time with construction full-time and was doing great but was very tired. took a huge pay cut and work part-time now doing easy work. Miss the good pay but will be worth it when done. Wish I had done this ten years ago but never to late. The job was physically insane. You work there after first couple days your whole body will be sore(unless your one of the countless losers that talk all day and get by on the sweat off your co-worker's backs). Got to operate overhead cranes but didn't get paid more and in fact union guys all made the same so you got 10 yrs exp and some moron can come in and 3months later be making the same pay doing half the work with half the knowledge. Foreman were usually related to management or complete suck asses who got positions by constantly going into office to rat people out or complain. If you busted your ass and act like a work horse they'd want to keep you there. Yet if you were slow and weak you got a foreman position or put into an easier job. Going elsewhere with the union was impossible once you were at this company for awhile as they didn't like to take guys from them and union worked more for the company than us. Actually voted a contract down one year and instead of renegotiation or a strike they accepted the contract that was voted down and even violated it couple years later when the place had no work so didn't give a raise that was in the contract. I'm all for unions to a point but many are corrupt and do nothing but take people money.

Haha damn bro I feel like I wrote this lol do you live in California or is this how construction is everywhere? I'm making 26 right now and if I go union I'll go up to 44$ and it's for the operators unions so I'm going to work my way up to an operator so I can sit on my ass and pull levers all day
