Signing for a package use to be a no no. I’m old school. Been out of the game for a while. Please advise.

Just sign for it. That's why I've read/been told. It's just a formality. One thing I don't understand is the guys that say to never track a package. That makes no sense.

The whole tracking a pack is total crap, like kins said, nobody is watching how many times a pack is being tracked. Anything over seas needs a sig. just sign for it unless your buying rec’s too

Everything international does not need a signature. It depends on the source and location. If you know that no signature was supposed to be required then don't do it. And I've seen a news item on a bust that usps tracked the ip address that was tracking the package in question. It doesn't matter how many times you check it just use a VPN.

For sure if their suspicious of a pack or monitoring an individual they can link your IP address to tracking a package like you said. Packages can be sent snail mail not priority and no signature is needed and no tracking is offered.

Makes no sense, why would they track the IP address if they already know the physical address of where the pack is going?. I'm also sure it's gonna take some paperwork and some kind of court order to get the ip addresses from a federal government business. Sorry I just don't buy it. Let's see some links on proof of this tactic.

Again, this makes no sense. There would be no point in tracking an IP address if you already know the physical address. Like I said before, please provide some kind of link proving this. I'd like to hear more about this because what both of you are saying makes no sense.

I said they can link the IP address to the pack if they track it. Example of what I mean. Let’s say the man is suspicious and is building a case against an individual for importing aas or any other illegal substances. The IP address could be used as another piece evidence. The man tries to get as much evidence possible to make sure they have a iron clad case against the person or persons before they indict them. I’m not saying they would be trying to use an IP addy from the start.

Also because the safe way is no gear inside when.... on the way.
U can beat it by denying, u can't control if some meathead sends gear to.....
But your ip can show u knew what was coming indeed.
Why take chance??
But if it's for small stuff no worries.
But nothing comes to....
Not at my .....
Nope, no chances

Still doesn't make any sense. They would have the physical address before that. If they have a tracking number already then they have the physical address already. There is no point in tracing a persons ip address. This just makes zero sense. No special agent is sitting at a USPS server or watching logs of tracking numbers to connect the tracking numbers to IP addresses. The tracking numbers are already connected to physical addresses anyway.

If it’s a major supplier and their building a case I guarantee they will collect all types of evidence over a couple year investigation. IP addy is actually a small piece of evidence. All they need is your IP addy and they can see everything you look at. Anyway I could care less it isn’t worth debating to me.

My bad Kins I’m not too technology savvy, I was wrong and I went off of what people told me in the past and I just looked it up myself and your right. Also what I read gave me a piece of mind as to not worry so much. Disregard my prior posts. You can poke fun at me all ya want but at the end of the day I’m man enough to admit I’m wrong. I thought that was how le got the stuff a person has been looking at.

No not making fun at all. I just want/wanted details of this procedure. We are better off knowing as much as we can about these things so we all can stay on top of it.

This might be off topic, but recently sent money Western Union to another country and they had records of my last money sent to another country. Not sure if this is typical, but not excited about it
