Sleep was decent overall with 7.5 hours logged and a solid sleep score, but it was definitely interrupted. I kept waking up feeling stuffy and this morning I had that slight feeling like I might be coming down with something. Hoping it does not stick. Fasted weight came in at 222 exactly, still hovering in that range. Today was supposed to be a cardio day, but waking up feeling off stopped me from jumping on the stairs. I listened to my body there. Instead, the day turned into a full honey do list situation. My wife always has projects lined up and I pushed through how I was feeling to get things done. Re-did the closet for my youngest daughter and worked on painting my office, so I still stayed active. Mood was a little down today, probably a mix of not feeling 100 percent and no gym session, but I kept moving forward. I am planning on being good to go by morning because tomorrow is shoulder day and I am not missing that. Anyone else train through the early stages of feeling under the weather or do you usually pull back right away?

Fasted weight dropped back down to 220.2 this morning. Sleep was just ok. The stuffy nose kept waking me up and I still feel like I am fighting something off. Nothing terrible, but enough to notice. No pump today since I decided to take another full rest day and give my body a real chance to recover. I hate backing off, but sometimes it is the smarter move. Still made it to church, though concentrating was a little difficult. Afterward I just chilled at home and as the day went on I did start to feel slightly better. Appetite was not fully there which is unusual for me right now, so I was basically forcing myself to eat and just focusing on staying hydrated. I also decided to move all of my GH to a single nightly dose of 8iu instead of splitting it, just to simplify things. Hoping I wake up tomorrow feeling clear headed and ready because I really do not want to miss my morning leg day. Recovery first, then back to pushing weight.

Woke up still feeling a little sick, but noticeably better than yesterday, so I made the decision to get up and stick to my morning routine. Headed in for early Monday quad focused leg day and even though strength and energy were not fully there, I am glad I went. Numbers were a little down from peak sessions, but I still got a solid pump and the workout felt productive. Mood stayed good all day and honestly I was just happy to feel well enough to train again. I am planning on getting to bed much earlier tonight so I can fully recover and hit back hard tomorrow. Now that appetite is clearly back with those macros, I am taking that as a good sign recovery is moving in the right direction.

Fasted weight came in at 222.2 this morning. Sleep was noticeably better with hardly any wake ups and a solid 6 hours in. I was a little slower getting out of bed than usual, not my typical jump up immediately type of morning, but once I got moving I felt fine. Had plenty of time to pin, drink my pre-workout mix, and take my morning pills without rushing. Back day felt strong. Strength was there, pump was full, and overall the session was productive. Breathing was not perfect because I am still dealing with a slightly stuffy nose, but it did not hold me back too much. I have also been getting more into nootropics to help with work fatigue, focus, and productivity. So far I have tested Noopept up to 50mg, Fladrafinil up to 75mg, and Phenylpiracetam up to 100mg. Still have some Sunifiram to experiment with as well. Trying to dial in the right combinations and dosages depending on the demand of the day. Anyone else running nootropics?

Fasted weight came in at 221.6 this morning. Sleep was incredible with almost a full 8 hours and I definitely felt the difference. Today was a full rest day since I have bloodwork tomorrow and I want everything as steady as possible going into it. Work ended up being pretty crazy, so mentally I am drained and more than ready to get another solid night of sleep. No early training tomorrow which should help me lock in another 8 hours. I am genuinely looking forward to seeing how everything looks internally with this protocol. Strength has been climbing and I feel good overall, so I am expecting solid results. Then see what adjustments can be made :devilish:

Thank you! Ment has been great, goal was to gain strength and fullness quick from it. Its excelling at both even with such a low dose. First time running it and havent experienced any side effects at all. Once i get my e2 and prolactin levels back ill look to increasing it a little bit. Taking it slow with Ment lol
 
Fasted weight held steady at 221.6 this morning. Sleep was overall good, but congestion is still hanging around and I woke up a few times during the night. Between the stuffy nose and getting up to use the bathroom from all the water I drank yesterday prepping for labs, it was not the most uninterrupted night. Woke up feeling like I had been mouth breathing, which is never ideal. Because of labs this morning I had to skip my usual early lift, and then work completely took over. Meetings stacked up back to back and before I knew it the day was gone. No gym and no cardio. As the day went on my throat started to feel a little funky, almost sore, which has me hoping whatever I was fighting off is not trying to creep back in. Mentally I feel it. It might honestly be time to take a few days off work and let my brain reset a bit. The girls have spring break coming up, so that may be the perfect window to step away and recharge.

Fasted weight came in at 219.8 this morning, which is a noticeable drop from earlier in the week and likely some water settling down. Sleep was a solid 7.5 hours, but it did not feel great. Congestion woke me up a few times and when the alarm hit for the early gym session I honestly did not feel good. Instead of forcing it, I chose to get an extra hour of sleep which I think was the right move. Rather than skipping training entirely, I pivoted and got in a solid at home chest workout during my lunch break. I recently bought more weights so I can go heavier when needed, and that definitely paid off today. Even with congestion lingering, the workout felt strong and productive. The day overall was great and I even managed to sneak in a small cheat meal without blowing up my macros. I also got part of my blood work back and so far nothing crazy showed up. Hematocrit and platelets were slightly elevated, but honestly that could have been tighter if I had done a better job hydrating before the draw. Prolactin came back at 6, which is a really good sign already and gives me confidence about potentially increasing the Ment dose. Will wait for more results. Saturdays are normally my scheduled rest days, but I have not decided yet if I will take it or move things around depending on how I feel.

Fasted weight came in at 218.3 this morning, a noticeable drop and likely some water settling again. Sleep was incredible though. Even though I went to bed late, I slept in and got a full 8 hours with about 4 of those on CPAP. I definitely needed that recovery. The debate about whether I was going to train or not was settled by my wife. She wanted a family day out shopping and doing things together, so that is what we did. Honestly, no regrets. Lots of walking and moving around so hitting 10k steps was easy. I also received more of my lab results. Lipids are mostly solid with HDL slightly low at 37 and LDL slightly high at 109, nothing drastic but something I will tighten up quickly. The bigger thing was iron. Total iron came back at 37, saturation at 10 percent, and ferritin at 26. I have dealt with anemia before, over a year ago, and doctors always attribute it to my hiatal hernia since they have not found another cause. I already ordered supplements to address it. Metabolic panel was surprisingly clean across the board, even GGT normal, but ALT was elevated at 69. That could be from being sick this past week or possibly from some pain meds. Pain meds can also trigger anemia for me because of the hernia, so that is something I will keep in mind. Overall nothing alarming so far and I still feel good about how labs are looking. Shoulders tomorrow and ready to get back after it.

Fasted weight came in at 217.4 this morning, continuing that gradual drift down after the earlier bump. Sleep was shorter than the recent 7 plus hour nights, but still good quality at about 6.5 hours. No snoozing, just up and moving right away to get ready for the gym. Congestion is still lingering so no CPAP again last night, but overall I felt ready to train. Went in early before church and got a solid shoulder session in. Added a new movement today, shoulder shrugs on the standing plate loaded calf raise machine so I did not have to deal with a barbell at all. The contraction felt great and the pump afterward was legit. After church it was a relaxed day at home with the family and a quick grocery run for some last minute dinner ingredients. Tomorrow starts a new week and that means my favorite day, legs. Looking forward to attacking it hard.

Fasted weight dropped again and came in at 217 this morning. Nice to see it settle there. Sleep was just ok at 6.5 hours, all with CPAP, so quality was decent even if duration was not huge. Up early to hit quad focused leg day and energy in the gym was on point. The pump today was unreal. My quads felt like they were going to split and I loved every second of it. Sessions like that remind me why this is my favorite day. I have been slacking on taking gym videos and progress pictures though. Lately I have just been showing up, putting in the work, and heading out. Need to tighten that back up because this is the phase I will want documented. Work was manageable today, but I already know things are about to ramp up. We have a big project coming and I am stepping into a more technical role to help with tool development. That is going to require some serious mental output, especially while training early mornings. I have my nootropic blends lined up and ready to test for those heavier cognitive days. It is also time to cycle off the Mito stack, so I will be off it for a few weeks before starting it back up again. Big back session tomorrow and I am ready to attack it. Been having some pretty crazy dreams on it too. Today was a mid day back and biceps session which was a nice break in the middle of the work day. Energy stayed high the whole day and the pump in the gym had me feeling even better. Back sessions like that just make everything feel dialed in. On top of that I got a couple compliments which always helps reinforce that the work is paying off. Small things like that go a long way for motivation. Last workout was Tuesday at 5 AM.

I was sick over the weekend and still dealt with it a bit over the week, which could have influenced some inflammation markers.

For the iron markers, I do have a hiatal hernia and I’ve dealt with anemia in the past, so low iron is something I’ve seen before.

Everything else that typically goes with these markers of “concern” looked good and within range. I put quotes because I think they’re not that bad but if others think I should actually be concerned please let me know 🤣
