I keep seeing guys "recovering" with just Clomid and Nolva. You look at your Total Test, see 500ng/dL, and think you're "back." You're not. You're a walking corpse.
The Basic Fact: SERMs trick the pituitary, but they don't fix the internal signaling of the testes or the metabolic cost of the cycle you just finished.
The Lethal Fact: Coming off a heavy cycle causes a total collapse of the Pregnenolone/DHEA Adrenal Axis. Your testes might be producing T, but your adrenals are in a state of Prognenolone Steal. This is why you feel like depressed trash despite having "normal" numbers. Without exogenous Pregnenolone and DHEA during the first 4 weeks of PCT to restore neurosteroid levels (like Allopregnanolone), your GABA-A receptors remain desensitized. You aren't "recovered" until your Dopamine-Proactin-GABA balance is restored. A high Test number on a post-PCT lab is a vanity metric; if your DHEA-S is in the gutter, you are still chemically castrated.
