When we think about testosterone, we almost always think of men, after all, this is the hormone that largely defines a man. Very rarely will we ever think about testosterone form women, but contrary to popular conception, testosterone for women is essential to their health and well-being. It is true; women produce substantially less of this primary androgen than men; they simply don't need as much, but many of the vital roles it plays in men it plays in women. From the physique to sexual function and a host of other areas, testosterone is vastly important to the female sex.

The Importance in Testosterone for Women:

As testosterone is the hormone that largely defines men, it is in many ways a hormone that defines women in a more indirect way. As a young woman grows, through her teen years she begins to produce more and more testosterone, and in her early to mid-twenties these levels will normally peak. As you may or may not understand, testosterone is a precursor, through testosterone we have estrogen, and without estrogen, we have no female. This alone makes testosterone for women vital, but it does not end there; not by a long shot.

Testosterone, as it does for men plays an important role regarding the libido in women; women who have low levels normally have a suppressed libido. We'll take a look at birth control here in a minute and this will all begin to make sense. While libido suppression is a massive effect of low levels, testosterone for women also plays the same role regarding the physique as it does for men. Women with low levels will carry less lean tissue; they will carry more body-fat and will have a much harder time losing body-fat. Yes, testosterone for women is that important.

Contraceptives & Testosterone for Women:

It's no secret; women who use many birth control medications often greatly suppress their libido. The idea behind birth control is straightforward; you have a desire to be sexually active, but you don't want to become pregnant; enter birth control, and the desire to be sexually active often goes flying out the window. Recall from above, testosterone plays a vital role regarding the libido of any woman, but many and by many we mean most birth control medications severely diminish testosterone levels. At any rate, some form of testosterone for women in a therapeutic or remedy sense is often needed to combat this issue if birth control is going to be used. Of course, there will be some women who produce enough testosterone even with a contraceptive to make this a moot point, but the vast majorities will not.

Menopause:

The stage known as menopause is a period in-which all women will reach, and it is at this stage testosterone for women can become more important than ever before. During this phase of their life, it is not uncommon for total testosterone levels to drop by as much as 80%; sometimes even more. Of course, you've heard of women supplementing with therapeutic estrogen and progesterone during this time, and maybe you have yourself, but many of these women need nothing more than testosterone. Women who have low levels of this nature often find fat-gain to be inevitable, they begin to become weak and frail; their immune system begins to decline and their overall metabolic rate and general quality of life simply take a downward spiral. If there were ever a time for therapeutic testosterone for women, this would be the time.

Making Sense of it All:

Testosterone therapy for men, especially in recent years has become a very accepted part of life; the "Low T" commercials we now see are evident of this fact. Of course, the issue of testosterone supplementation and women is a different story; when most think of such a thing they think of a woman turning into a man. This is simply ridiculous thinking; we have shown above how important this hormone is to the female gender, and to be truthful we've only touched the surface. At the same time, we must be clear; too much testosterone for women can be horrific, as it will in-fact cause severe masculinization. It truly is a fine line, but women need this primary androgen; they need far less than men, far less, but it is still essential to their health and proper amounts must be made available.

Good read. When my wife takes it, she’s on test e 200 ew at .2ml. We got some before that actually was over dosed. And .2 was prop like .4 lol. Man talking about changes. We needed up going with another lab’s gear and using a slin. Just to make sure of the actual dose.

Her strength went way up. Libido went up too. Which was awesome. She ran an 8 week cycle. She ran it alone. Then took off like 10 weeks. Her second cycle, she ran .2 of test e 200 ew, .2 primo100 and 10 var. That was a better cycle for her. She started running more and maintained her strength too

Great ta hear. Primo and var are especially attractive for women. Wishing her more continued success.

DW did 70 mg of prop per week one cycle. Holy shit, way to much.. libido was out of control. 40 to 50 seemed to be the best for her. She still prefers var.
