This pic is from 9 years ago, the strongest i have ever been.Remember, am 5'4'. I was squatting 365 for the last set 6 reps alone , 3 spotted. I was benching the same 225261_1023680353484_9131_n.jpg

Life was full of poor decisions, lots of regrets and sadness. I had to go and get STRONG...after 5 1/2 years of strength training , i learnt:

-The strongest man always apologizes first.
-The strongest man never looks down on another man, unless is to pull him up.
-The strongest man never complains.
-The strongest man always says am sorry , when there is a problem.
-The strongest man is always forgiving, caring and loving, NO MATTER WHAT

I pray that you all have a blessed day with your families

You are a very insightful man Pastor! Pretty cool backstory you have too. Idk the statistics but I feel like a lot of the people that were once drug/alcohol addicts and then got into bodybuilding/fitness during their recovery process they have way higher chances to stay clean. I even know a guy, although more recently. He is only a few years older at 26 or 27 and he use to be addicted to heroin. And has been clean for a couple years now and uses the gym as support. I support anyone that goes to the gym cuz that shit can be hard. Whether they look like a nerd, super overweight, deathly skinny, don’t know what they are doing. I always try to help out these people because you never know what people are going through. The gym can actually be a sanctuary for people.
