I had biceps surgery 10 months ago. Been working out for 3 months so far and it's hard I do mostly light weight and high reps. They say after surgery you can go back to normal and they lie. I'm still trying but its hard after ripping tendons in both shoulders and a bicep torn off the forearm. It's going to take me another 6 to 10 months to get back to normal.

I had a partial tear in my bicep so it wasn't as severe as what you're going through. After a year of physical therapy, it didn't help at all. My bicep atrophied to the size of my forearm and I couldn't do shit. I went from banging out pull ups with an 80lbs dumbbell for 7-8 full extension reps, to not being able to do a single bodyweight pull up. It was very depressing to say the least. Believe it or not, as a last resort, I went to acupuncture. I was NOT a believer in it until I actually did it. I went from not even being able to flex my bicep in over a year to actually getting contraction after the 4th visit. I went on for another 4 visits and it worked. I had to start from square on and it took a couple of months, but I finally got my bicep back. I would recommend you at least do some research and look into it. Good luck bro!

I nearly torn left bicep and was lucky, but still got slowed down because of it. Still rehabbing it now so will take another month to get it real strong enough to do heavy lifts.

To top it off I now have Chronic Myeloid Leukemia and I been on chemo pills for a month and just started back to lifting again. My Oncologist said my blood is normal enough to start taking just testosterone cypionate because now I have low T because of the Leukemia.

You might want to trying Rolfing Massage it will hurt like Hell but it will break up the scar tissue from the damage that was done
