Raw eggs

I used to eat 2 raw eggs thrown into my breakfast shake daily... everyone tells me I’m gonna get sick so I stopped. But damn they made the shake taste better. Back In the day I used to watch all the greats chug a dozen at a time. How dangerous is it really? From what I read all commercial eggs including store bought organic are sprayed to prevent salmonella and that’s where most bacteria reside. Your thoughts?

Eggs are washed at 120*F with a mild detergent to be sanitized. Then they are graded by shape, interior/exterior color and size. If eggs are cracked and put into cartons they need to be pasteurized at 145*F for seven minutes ti eliminate bacteria.
 
Just buy the cartons of pure egg whites. Thats where your protein is anyways. Squirt a little Lite Chocolate Syrup, mix well, tastes just like chocolate milk
 
Pasteurized eggs are relatively risk free raw. There were a period of my younger years that I had at least a dozen raw each morning -- it was lifestyle habit. Live and learn.... when you eat them raw, you don't assimilate the protein as well.
 
Don’t mess with raw eggs!!!!! To much shit today, it’s not like the old days where u could do it, the food was better, now it’s all about mass produce, buy a 6 pack of whites at Costco for 9 bucks bro
 
How do y'all feel about drinking the liquid egg whites? Sometimes I throw them in with my oats/whey protein shake
 
I have been substituting with egg whites ever since... the convenient factor is great just miss the good fat vitamins and minerals in the yolk but I’d rather not walk the line

From the shell...? Discarding the yolk..., Or carton liquid egg whites..?

I buy the six pack pints at Sam's for $8 & change , add to most of my shakes, either the one Roc does with protien oatmeal & frozen banana /& PB fit.

Or just add 1/3. -1/2 the carton to a scoop or two + 2% milj sometimes frozen banana /strawberries or both .
 
I eat 8 raw eggs every morning. Not b coz of taste but its the easiest way to get 50gms of protein and not feel overly stuffed. Ive seen studies that say that theyre better for you that way as cooking them burns off some of the protein. Im sure there are studies to the opposite as well too. So basically do what fits ur lifestyle and makes you happy
