Greetings All,
I was directed to the Underground by MuscleMechanic. Great Guy with a lot of experience and advice to share.
So a little about me.
I am 52 y/o at5’6” and weigh in at 162 lbs.
I have beenlifting for the better part of 8 years... I run a very clean diet most of the yearand even in the months that my diet is not as clean; I still strive to eat as healthyas possible.
At the age of48, I entered my first amateur bodybuilding competition and have competed intwo others since then. This was a bucketlist item and I have not decided if I will compete again, however, I still runa cycle or two a year and maintain a healthy life style so that if I decide toI am ready.
My diettypically consists of Chicken, Fish, Shrimp and Steak (lean) 2-3 times a weekfor dinner, broccoli, asparagus, Brussel sprouts, green beans, and a carb withmy evening meal. My meals are dependenton whether I am cutting or bulking and the only fluctuation is the volume thatI take in and the addition of increased carbs and the assistance of massgainers while bulking to push my calories up.
My workouts consistsof high reps and low volume. I used topush the limits of my strength, however, after tearing my supraspinatus and my subscapulariswhile benching 360 I made the decision that the lower weights and higher repswere the direction I would go. This hasbeen working very well for me.

I'm glad to be here and look forward to sharing in your experiences, as well as sharing mine with you.
