Hey guys - might be old news but just a warning. I've been getting ALOT of emails from "FedEx" and "Dhl" telling me to track and pick up packages on my protonmail account. The numbers are always dead and it seems like a phishing attempt - lots of links in there. Just a friendly reminder not to click shit if you don't know where it's from.

Happens to every email provider out there. Just be smart and don't click on it

Ditto...NEVER click on the links in the email as you might catch malware. Delete it.

Also goes double for opening these emails on your mobile device as there's malware that is smart to check the device you opened it on.

Right, I brought it up because it seems to be targeting guys like us who get international packages. Some guys get tracker happy and might fall for it. I've never gotten one disguised as fed or ems, so just wanted to throw a heads up out there.

Did I start this if not I'll remind that i too and few guys I " work " with dealing with this . Do not open those links . I actually temporarily removed from cell and changed passwords now often. No reason DHL shoujd even have my email

First it's not DHL getting compromised or rather it's anyone . And don't think any encrypted email is excuse . All and anything just always be careful / you don't know then don't open

Doesn't have anything to do with Dhl or Fedex. They could impersonate any company. They are just trying to look legit so you will be fooled into clicking on the link.

Just got one today with the title as follows,

"(FINAL WARNING) VERIFY YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE TERMINATED AFTER 48 HOURS"

In the body it has two links, one that says, "Yes, I would like verify my account" and another one that says, "No, I didn't make this request, cancel verification request."

Lmao, not gonna fall for that!.
