....why does Western Union and MoneyGram make it soooooo frickin' hard to send money anymore!!!!

I have tried 5 times to send money in the past two days and MG does not give me a reason other than 'Funds cannot be sent' and WU says 'Receiver is not valid'.....what a pain in the ass this has become.

libertyX is awesome for bitcoin. That's what I'm doing now. Go to the store, show them the trans # from the app. Hand them the cash and done. Bitcoin goes straight to your source, you don't even need your own wallet.

Call and ask. At least then you'll know.

CashApp and Venmo are great! I just wish more sponsors would accept them. It’s instant and no fee for the receiving end.

I had a hell of a time today. Wasted about 5-6 hours of my life trying to Moneygram to go through. In and out back and fourth 4 times to different locations, chatting online with a rep. They finally told me "We are not comfortable with your transactions". Funny because an hour before that they asked me some questions and then said, "No reason why your funds won't transfer". Then they actually deleted my online account. So I guess I'm banned. Oh well, screw them.

For anyone starting to use mg or wu always send funds rounded of to the tens like 310 320
330 NOT 312 or 327 and some change always send a round number you are donating more but they see the funds being sent like you are buying something. When you send money to someone it’s always 100 150 200 220 not hey send me 111 or 156 they know somethings up.

Just to add to this...always make sure when they ask if you have sent money to this person before to always say yes....and don't hesitate when you say it.

Nowhere near as safe though, good way to get busted. One transaction and the other person literally has access to all your personal info, if they happen to be LE then you're fucked. Bitcoin not so much, a lot safer.

That does make it easy to put money right into the source's bitcoin account. I found a bitcoin ATM near me so may make use of it to pay a source directly without additional transfer fees.

Thanks for the warning...seems cashapp was too good to be true.

I know they are really cracking down when it's none of their damn business

Can you use the ATM to fund your own BitCoin account.

Sure you could if you wanted to...just use your own bitcoin addy to deposit to it. Depositing directly to a source's addy means less hassle when paying for your gear orders.

I am still trying to wrap my head around this crypto thing.
