So after reading an article posted by T-Nation I decided to use 1000mg/daily of pantothenic acid.

I sustained a really bad back injury rushing to deadlift 700 before 2017...I was ready after one near miss at lockout and upped my 3rm 10-20lbs...I wanted to hit 645x3 and make sure I was even stronger before reattempt and had forgotten my good belt...used a very old sports store belt left at gym and prob way to many heavy off the floor deads to close together. Knee level and heard two popping sounds as i dropped bar and had horrible pain. Began rehabbing the area and slowly worked back over last couple months. Still feeling some pain but stop when I exp. any and include lots of stretching and light weight high reps. Have also been using the B5 at 1000 mg and just got back to 6 plates for triple...Now Ill be doing less off the floor and more volume and variations. I knew what I was doing was to much but I was literally 2 weeks away from what I am sure would of been a nice pr.Now Im way behind but Ive learned my lesson and will be moving up much more carefully before I end up with something more serious.
Anyway sorry for the rant but I really believe the pantothenic acid helped as I'm almost positive it wasnt a muscle tear and most likely a tendon or ligament. Slowly healing but the article above is worth a read.
