About 2 and a half years ago I started to get pain and numbness in both of my hands, but mainly my right. I went to the doctor and they told me I had cubital tunnel syndrome and surgery was required. The surgeon found that my tricep muscle had the nerve bundle in a slight pinch, but was now released. Long story short is for a short period after recovery the pain and numbness got better, but now its 10x worse. It gets unbearable especially at night, hands go numb pain shooting down from my elbow and restlessness in my arms. Has anyone else experienced this. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas of where to go from here because my doctors and studies that have been conducted don't have any ideas what is wrong.

That sounds very frustrating. I know well the effects chronic pain can have on your life. I wish I could give you advice but other than finding a specialist as was said I don't have any. Good luck.

THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT. At this point I'm willing to try anything to get back to normal. I've been to a few specialist, and they all say the same thing. Its frustrating going from doctor to doctor, kind of makes you feel crazy after a while.

Yup, I got cubital tunnel syndrome diagnosed years back in my left arm. Initially I went to a couple physical therapists for it. There are glide exercises that you can do that are supposed to help. Surgery is also an option, but as the doc I talked to said he could cut me open and move the nerve, but that it could come back anyway. He blamed the muscle mass I had in my tricep and working out as the cause.

I've slacked off over the past couple years in regards to weight lifting and it kind of went away. For a while I've started getting back into it and the numbness has returned and now I also get bad pain in my left bicep/forearm, especially when I lift. My whole left side is just kind of fucked up lol. I know I should be doing more stretching routines, and maybe more foam roller work. I think I've read that applying ice has helped some people. Google cubital tunnel nerve glide exercise and also cubital tunnel syndrome PT exercises. They may help provide some relief, but for me it's just been there on/off for a long time and I don't expect it to really go anywhere any time soon.

I had this going on really bad about a year ago! Especially right in the pinky and ring finger. It would happen really bad at night time. It sort of died out when my routine went from
Heavy Powerbuilding to more traditional bodybuilding. I got trigger finger from heavy deadlifts as well lol lucky me?
