I think lots of people underestimate the power of glutamine cause i dont here many guys talk about it, i like to mix it with my other supps i mentioned its a must for me also, good choice bayouboy1.

Totally agree brother! I used to get really bad heartburn. It was constant depending on the foods I was eating; but constant. Doc told me to try glutamine since it also supports gut health. Apparently I had "leaky gut syndrome" and the glutamine I was taking wasn't enough. I supplement 5,000mg in the am and another 5,000mg in the PM.

No heartburn. If I miss a couple days here or there....no big deal. If I miss a week, like when on vacation last year....shit hits the fan.

My must haves....

L-Glutamine, BCAA, Multivitamin, DHEA, Vitamin C (extra punch), cranberry, milk thistle.... a few other things too. But mostly the basics. I have a one week pill organizer split am/pm and is a must for me. If it's in front of me...I take it. If I have to grab on my own, going through each bottle, not gonna happen.
 
Creatine is a waste, glutamine is crap, bcaa is good to have, I take a multi pack everyday and get everything I need from food!!! No sub for food. I have started taking injectable aminos and other things from a source here, I will run them for a good 3 months, and make my call on them too. In the end, if your eating enough you don't need anything else, just like protein shakes, a big waste if you ask me cause so many idiots just think you need 6 of them a day!!

B vitamins complex b-6 helps with my skin
Fish oil
Baby asprin a couple day thin blood
Magnesium -experimenting lower red blood. I have order for phlebotomy as often as every 3 weeks or as needed
Vit-C 1000
Supplement workout
Whey protein usually 1 per day
Creatine been a while but mono makes hands hurt carpal tunnel
So I use creatine hcl
I love pump products arginine, citrulline in pill or caps
I may take a bit more vitamins but I also have to do alot of phlebotomy's red blood by build up. Have order every 3 weeks or as needed can never go past 6 weeks.

how many grams of glutamine are you consuming daily for therapeutic effect? I have also read this numerous times and would like to try it as I have GERD

9 grams a day ....

Roc, glutamine works for me. It's been a blessing for my heartburn. I totally agree there is no substitute for real food.

The supplement industry is rich because of stupidity and the placebo effect.
