Any experts on living with mold . I like live inhuge basement apartment. But lately humidity and other side building standing water came through floor . Also been hot humid here. I suddenly had white fuzz growing cleaned with bleach vinegar mold clean. Tossed anything that was bad . This oriental rug on floor mold came through like diarrhea so tossed it bleached floor . Now I got dehumidifier and a/c my temp now 72 humidity 60 before 80. Is this enough would you move I think its disgusting

If the landlord doesn’t want to fix the problem by waterproofing it the right way I’d definitely get out of there.
Mold can be some nasty shit, it doesn’t even have to be visible to cause problems

Mold does cause health issues especially in children or in people who have allergies. Definitely I would move if the landlord does not fix the problem.

All mold is bad news for your health but I think black mold is the one you really have to watch out for. Mold is tricky and hides in weird spots.

I would tell the landlord to get an expert out there ASAP. If they refuse then you need to report them and move out. the unit may be uninhabitable.

Definitely get the landlord on it or break the lease and get out. Nothing good can come of it

Contact your landlord and let him know he needs to have certified personnel come clean up the mold. The landlord is responsible for paying your hotel costs while the cleanup is taking place. If he refuses i would contact the city or state and let them know. There are very strict regulations involving mold. Your landlord should know this and will most likely have it done to avoid very costly government oversight and inspection. If not it is a lease breaking incident.

Get out of there Kman..its only going to happen again neways so get out while u still can and before any major health issues.

Mold removing is very $$$ and is a bad health risk to say the least !!! Move as fast as u can. The land Lord should have insirance !!

Concrobium is good for mold however that can be considered unsafe environment. Speak with your landlord and if they are no help speak with the city

Yup I had landlord bring pro in also now got dehumidifier and a/c with air quality monitor oh got 3 air purifier appliances lol since I don’t pay electric got these baby’s going 24/7 humidity down to 50 from 90 and constant 72 degrees . Just every few hours dump 2 gallons water from the dehumidifier crazy . Plus got few products that kill mold and seal area . I’m not on lease unfortunately pay only 500$ month all utilities included so seems to be ok though I’m still considering a move . Plus got this air quality measures fromaldyhyde etc no sign of the fuzz . Though of it oh disgusts me though
