So I was wondering what everyone's favorite mass generating exercises were.
As for me skull crushers...

DB skullcrushers, french press and pushdowns with a straight bar for me. I have the arm genetics you typically find on bigger framed guys than me.

Close grip bench press, incline db bench.

For triceps ? Either weighted dip or try this pick weight that’s heavy for skull crushers 4/8 rep heavy but position the bench directly infront of the dip machine . Do your heavy set then ( and this part important ) you don’t want the tricep even few seconds to recover or defeats purpose . As you place weight down jump up on dip machine do many as you can full range but don’t lock keep constant tension . That’s pre-exhaust superset at it finest . Try it just like I say not only will you create hyperplasia you will pump more vascularity and power . For beginners this is a shocking method to build size using the larger fresh pectoral muscle to further exhaust the already totally fatigued tricep the key is minimizing rest -like me I put the bar on floor and use my forward momentum when doing so to vault up to the dip bars . My triceps are always shredded cross fibers . I do variations this at times also hint in days maybe you’re running late you can do more intense training in shorter time this way . I do similar with bent dumbell flye for rear delts then cable rope rows /// side dumbell laterals then barbell press /// leg extensions to complete failure infront of squat rack then squats ./ good lat one cross bench dumbell pullovers 100 pounders for 12 place bench under chin station then do chins = incredible. Also heavy shrugs followed by barbell bent rows . One arm bench rear delt fly then dumbell row too you get it

Funny you say back in 1998 my orthopedic sports doc wanted to operate on my rotator cuffs said they were destroyed . Of course this was before I ever used steroids but trained already for 15 years. Anyway before all upper body routines I warm up on cardio machine 15 minute then I do pendulum exercises with 5 pound plate or dB. You know those ? In physical therapy it’s the one where you bend over arm straight and make circles both large and small few sets until rotators feel loose . I also began deca . That 30 years ago and I’ve never had another shoulder issue . Proper loosening and yes deca I feel did, though I still do my warm up method .

If I raise my arms my shoulders pop. But no other side from this.

Generally speaking....compound movements. The classics....barbell bench, squats and deadlifts. I also like to throw in kettle swings, dips, pull ups, and box jumps for a little added cardio.

Chest: Flat Bench & Incline Bench Barbell Press....Back: Wide Grip Lat Pulldowns & Bent Over Barbell Rows....Shoulders: Standing Military Press & Standing Behind The Neck Military Press, Legs: Squats & Sumo Stance Leg Press
