hey all.. sorry I been away. June of 2016 I became very sick.. bed riding for days. fever of 105, lost tons of water from really bad sweats. went to ER did tons of test with no answers.. a month later I had big red patches taken over my body. went back in to and finally was tested for Lyme, I tested positive also had a parvo virus..took doxycycline to kill the infection.. within the next few month I began to have panic attacks, depression, blurred vision. brain fog, and massive joint pains.. I been searching for over a year for a cure.. I finally found a doctor that treats Lyme. but the cost is not covered by insurance. ill be on meds for the next 8 months.. this months cost was $520.... this really sucks ass... wondering if anyone else on here has Lyme.. if so did they still take steroids or stop completely?? I believe the Meds I'm taken will have no effect but I really cant ask any doctor... the Meds are not prescription meds....

Sorry for your complications, and welcome back..

I do remember you/ your screnname..!

You really ought to still run it by the doc you found, I would not advise, but if your wondering if it "may" help, I'd venture / err on the side of No...! Do what you need to do to clear this issue up, gear isn't going to go anywhere.

You def don't want to whack your immune system.

By even Training too aggressive either, train,. But don't Train like your "ON"..! Run any probable questions you may have by the doc, he's there to help.

Def use any immune booster to your avail, vit C ,D L-Glutamine etc . Hydration, hydration....! Can't emphasize enough. Best of luck,. Will check back, keep us up to par.

And, by "All" means, Stay Inspired.., positive, and open minded. But def don't take shit into your own hands,

Run these questions by him/her your info (by HEPA law is to remain confidential ) no worries..!

I have a couple friends with it. It's definitely a serious condition. The community I live in had a fundraiser for the one person because the cost to treat it was very high. He got real bad like you're talking about. He was basically on his deathbed and now a couple years later he's doing really well.

Good luck things will definitely get better far ya.

Yeah I heard that crap was nasty stuff. I've read a few things on how the deer population is carrying it right now....and just in time for deer season too.

Good luck on the road back my friend....its not something you can easily recover from.

Hey brother,. Sorry for your anguish.

Keep us up to speed on matters, and I personally wish you nothing less than a speedy recovery, and resolution to this
ailment.

My neighbor has it. He had a really rough go if it at first as well. But now with his medication and the work of his dr, has it under control. His joint pain and the lethargy are almost nonexistent at this point!! Just stay strong and keep fighting!

Yeah he had it rough at first, even sold his boat that he chartered fishing trips with. But now 2 years later is doing exponentially better. He still has some bad days but on a scale of 1-10 I’d say he was a 2 2 years ago and now is a 9. Even bought another boat and is back chartering deep sea fishing.
