I went for a free trail and set that off for fun. Didnt get shit done in my workout though but that speaker was goin off like mad

I've gotten in trouble at 2 different locations. Once because I was doing a full body dumbbell complex as a warm up and they said I was working out too hard. Another time for doing an hit run on the tread mill and they said I was working out too hard.

There's a PF in Dalton, Georgia that still has all the free weights, squat racks and a cage, and dumbbells up to 120. They have a lot of massive guys there and they actually let people workout.

LOL typical. I go to a PF right near my home for light training days then hit it hard on the weekends at my main gym that has the big toys.

Most of those PF's most likely were gyms that were taken over by PF, and that's a rarity that most of the old equipment is still there.

Yeah I walked around one but found I could not work out with shitty ass equipment so left in 5 minutes . My main gym is a Olympic / power lifting gym- where the owner trains team of lifters and keeps chinning stations , heavy standing calf machines , squat racks even old verticals leg press which if ya never tried you gotta ! Plus area with padded plates and chains to practice lifting competition stuff. Most new places don’t even have standing calf they say do on leg press same” yeah ok! Plus got 250 pound dumbbells for like rows and presses . The PF I saw barely had any lol . Got tons of benches even several different angle incline benches . Forearm machines even

Yep. Only one left in my area as another place is taking over. They really won't be around much longer I don't think. Why complain about a place if you don't like that particular gym?. Just go to a different one, or better yet build one in your home.

This is EXACTLY what my wife and I did. We have several Retro Fitness gyms in my area and a Powerhouse. They're all more or less "OK", but we built a pretty nice home gym with a few key pieces of quality commercial gym machines - a lat pulldown; leg press and leg extension/seated leg curl machine - 1,000 lbs of O weight plates, and a rack of dumbbells from 5 to 90. LOVE IT! LOVE my home gym. Love going down the stairs to get there instead of driving 25 minutes. And love listening to whatever I want - silence, if that's what I feel like.
