Just had blood work done for my TRT regimen and I of course made sure my T was low. Ran dry on script for a month so I need to reflect that. My T-4 came back at 4.3L (4.5-12.0 ug/dl). Test was low at 120 (300-890) as expected and TSH came out as 2.13 (.40-4.10). Was off cycle obviously and had only recently completed a 2 week DNP run. Thoughts?

No thoughts that is normal!!
T4 will change thru day.
Your number was hardly off to matter.

Same happened to me last TRT I was off t3/t4 12 days total.
My t4 was hardly below and TSH normal.

If your TSH was high it can mean your thyroid not putting out but those results are normal.

If your TSH was low and t4 was lower than a whole #, than it would mean thyroid fine. (pituatay issue)

If TSH high and t4 at least 1 whole # low then would mean thyroid isn't putting out and body is demanding it to. ( thyroid issue)

Sure there are other factors to check further and that thyroid can be replaced but that is if symptoms of hypothyroid prevalent and then other methods are checked like T3 free t3 to t4 and reverse T3... these test determine how to treat and what is going on.

But your TRT bloods good.

I had bad lipids and fasting glucose 116.
But I know stopping thyroid 12 days before will cause lack of lipids to break down and glucose as well due to being hypo while coming back.

My Dr ordered a1c and lipids again for Jan but he didn't know I used and stopped thyroid.... lol!!

I test glucose with a diabetic monitor prick machine and it's 84-94 an hour after meals and Hgh dose so I am good.

So in my opinion u good. I know nothing much about DNP but if we burn our thyroid up, like heat exhaustion or heat stroke it takes while to put put proper again
