Lose 10 lbs in 2 weeks!

Ok bros; I have found the secret to losing 10 pounds in 2 weeks. It isn't a new twist on cardio or some kind of Himalayan herb...it's Pneumonia paired with a sinus infection! It's awesome. First...you cough so hard when eating that you get tired of it and only finish half of your meals. Plus; your stomach is constantly filled with fresh mucus so you don't feel like eating most of the time anyways and nothing beats sleeping in a recliner ( to help with drainage and so Mrs. U can sleep). It gets better....the antibiotics for this inhibit bacterial protein synthesis...and skeletal muscle protein synthesis. My doctor said I should be ready to go back to the gym in another week so that's 3 weeks off but what the hell...my abs are super tight from all the coughing. I went through the entire winter without even a case of the sniffles and then this....I don't know if I've ever had a bug like this.

So if you're feeling bloated...send me a lollipop and I'll lick it a few times and send back to you.
 
Sorry ya head to go through all that my friend. It may be a way to loose that weight but unfortunately thats not the healthiest way. Hope your feelin' better and get back on track with your training. It may take some time but stay disciplined and you know you gotta work hard. Good luck dude.

I get that; I've had injury setbacks especially as I age but this is just so god damn ticky tack...fuck'n bugs. Lookin forward to a slow restart till muscle memory kicks in. Hopefully; the rest will pay dividends on the joints.

Sometimes it never hurts to take a break from strength training even when healthy.
 
After 3 weeks of this shit I finally made it into the gym tonight, 15 lbs lighter. I look and feel small.
