Welcome bud

DRed,

You are main reason I joined this board. I have read many posts by many people who vouch for you....... I have a few years of experience behind my belt when it comes to assessing people. Obviously I give you an A plus rating!

Thanks! I had pretty genetically gifted parents....joints to small to be a football player, not tall enough for basketball....lol....but I was pretty good at milking cows, hauling hay bales, and probably ate 3 or 4 cows while growing up....lol. Of course, I didn't know how well I would take to the gym......but i do remember my first arm workout, i was twitching and having muscle spasms for two days afterwards. Read a book by a guy named Ellington Darden and he advocated high intensity training to failure but not a lot of sets.....I think a lot of people if they have a lot of intensity, overtrain.....I tried to be smart about stuff,, didn't max out often, no injuries, and never developed a love for alcohol or smoking. Did develop a appetite for women and fillet mignon though.....lol.. Can't get over how nice people here are on this board........
