Attention on Deck!!

“First In, Last Out! The temperament of a Marine is that of a quiet storm. There’s a feeling that something is upon the horizon and then the mist of war is released upon us. However, there is sanctuary within his eyes. For he knows the meaning of sacrifice for the greater good and for those who have never felt the euphoric rush of combat... they will never know, only admire from afar. Take joy in knowing that if I should fall I will walk amongst my brothers and sisters in Odin’s Hall and feast upon the sweetest meats and partake of the strongest ales. Death is but a part of life and I shall live on through the spirit of new Marines willing to fill the ranks of the fallen. I am a Marine... I shall live forever!” - The 44

Amen Brother! I never served, but my heroes aren't bodybuilders, or actors, or (pussy) athletes, its our Vet's.
My Dad went in to the Navy at age 16 (Lied on his paperwork) back in 1954.
Shipped right over to Korea. The war ended in '53, but of course a presence was needed for years to keep the peace, work DMZ, etc.

Salute to the Marines and all our Vet's and those currently serving! Real men, not skinny jean wearing modern day pussies!
