Hi guys unfortunately I have to switch doctors due to insurance reasons...
I recently scheduled an appointment with my endocrinologist to talk about upping my TRT dose. I'm prescribed 100 mg of test every week.
My last blood test came back with a testosterone level of 540.
Which I feel is too low.
Sex drive crashes mid week, energy levels suffer and experiencing brain fog.
After scheduling my appointment I soon found out that my insurance does not cover my current endocrinologist.
So now I have to start all over.
My question is ....can a primary care physician prescribe TRT?
I'm worried that I'm going to b sent through the ringer again and have to do blood work to prove I have low testosterone.
Also if anyone lives in the CA orange county area and knows a good endo or PCP any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
