The joys of parenthood...I am happy to announce that baby girl U. followed in her older brother's foot steps by signing her national letter of intent today. She knew where she wanted to go and her sport has early signing so she decided not to horse around with it. Fortunately, she's off to a warmer climate.

Proud dad indeed, good for her. Last year when my daughter signed, they had a big thing at the school. All I did was sit there and cry. They grow up quick. Congrats to you and your daughter

Congrats on your daughter's achievement and here's to a momentous college career for her and I am sure you'll be living vicariously through her lmao.

My sentiments brother, I was a.choked up "just" when my daughter graduated high school this past June, she's been accepted to Eastern U , & a local community college (where I went many years ) classes start soon.
.And just today she texted me "early$ in the morning while I was on OT (12's all week again ) & said she was going to get her hair done. She stays with me BTW her mother & I went thru an ugly Divorce last year.

While I have full custody of both youngins' the Baby (boy 17 in a few weeks 6'3" 228+ lbs ) baby lol...! Stays with his mother {breaking my heart } .

Anyhow yes they grew so quick.. and so I texted her back
& Told her that I miss hanging out (lunch & stuff ) since both of us are busy working (she's been doing two jobs for awhile now to keep her mind right ) saving ..$$

Just made me sadder, but she texted the same back, I passed out dead tired when I got home & she was off to work already when I woke , and here I am again @ work last 12 of the week , one more 8 he shift Sat & off for 3 day's.

So, I'm feeling ya brother...! Gotta enjoy em' & take in whatever we can when their around. Life is too short.

Uma, I apologise for muddling in your thread.

My oldest (23) just finished college. My youngest (20) is a Junior in college. They grow up quick.
Looking FWD to no more college payments after next year :)

Congrats!

That's brutal I got to say. If your daughter got what it takes mad props to her!

You should see some of these girls. We got to meet one of women on the U.S. 8 crew gold medalists from Rio games...she's 6'2" 190 lbs....built like a friggin NFL safety. My baby girl is 5'10" so that's good enough to recruit; she's "in the box" for that sport.
