During what phase are you most satisfied with the way you look?

When we cut we feel too small, when we bulk we feel too fat.I myself get discouraged when cutting because the lack of calories and carbs flattens me out and I lose my fullness. Then when I'm mid bulk, my definition fades, along with my abs, and veins. Without that muscle separation and definition I feel like I look smaller, yet soft and somewhat pudgy.

It's like there's only a short period of time in between phases where I really like the way I look. I'd say it's shortly after transitioning from cutting to bulking. The first month or so I'm ramping up my calories and starting to gain my fullness back. I'm lean, yet full and the extra calories haven't begun to add any noticeable bodyfat yet. To me, this is where I like to be.
 
I'm so severe in my body dysmorphia at this point thst I'm not sure if there even is a period where I'm "happy" with it.. I would say the fleeting minutes after a chest/arm blast is pretty close though
 
I can pick body parts I want to bring up all day long on any cycle or not. But I'd have to say that I feel best when I'm around 240-245lbs. Usually towards end of blast.
 
Straight up I just need to been pumped and sore as fuck

In other words if I skip too many gym days I feel like a skinny fat bitch.

I am always 225/230lbs. But when I am killing it in the gym and keeping up with “meds” and eating I am on top of he world

I recently got a big tattoo and I been out gym for 5 days letting it heal. I feel like a fucking slob.

But going tomorrow morning!!!!!!!

Hand raise for the "body dysmorphia" club lol. Never satisfied, but I'd say the first few weeks of a cut where body is still somewhat full and I'm not yet starving 24/7
 
I recently got a big tattoo and I been out gym for 5 days letting it heal. I feel like a fucking slob.

I thinkin' about getting large one as well over my shoulder and upper arm. Is it recommended that ya don't strength train for a few days?
 
Well the placement of mine made it hard to bend my arm without hurting a little and I am so paranoid when it comes to taking car of a fresh tat.

This is my 7th piece and I am on day 6 and it is done peeling and looking so fucking good. Going train tomorrow

Mine BD has gotten worse, I went through somevery hard times from 2016 to March of last year and dropped from 225 at 5'10 12% to 140. Well March of this year life got back on track and I'm finally back up 195-200. I'm no where near as big as most you guys, but when unless I'm pumped up after a gym session I still see 140lbs skinny fat in the mirror.
My wife is a saint, but she tells me I'm addicted to the gym with body image issues. Even compliments will sometimes make me feel like people are being sarcastic.
I guess the only time I am halfway satisfied is after the gym. The past month I've lifted everyday but 3, because my joints were too achy.

Until its done peeling and fully healed you should bend/irritate the area as little as possible. Otherwise it'll peel too quick which leads to early fading or other issues.

I get the same way. If I thrown out of my routine and its and its few days longer before training that particular body part its like a huge rush of blood to the trained area....don't really get too sore though.

Yes....I have heard tats are addictive.
 
Depends on lots of factors. Size,placement,detail, skill of artist,what kind of moisturizer or lotion you put on it,sun exposure etc etc...

Generally 5-10 days IMO

I could go 5 day without strength training....7 would be pushin' it....10 days would seem like a lifetime.
 
You can work around it. Where you mentioned yours you could still do legs/cardio/biceps probably.edit - squats may be out BC of the bar...

I’m 51 gonna start tattooing my arm . All related to my 40 years bujutsu studies gonna begin with one by one until I have sleeve . Crazy ??
