I've been wanting to join for awhile now but due to an unforseen bump in the road everything has been sidetracked.I found out 6 monyhs ago at 49yrs Im eat up with Osteo-Arthritis.I go Monday for Total Hip Joint replacement.I never knew I had arthritis until then.It bothered me at first.Having your lifd takd a 180 turn in 5 min will do that.I have a grip now and refuse to give in.I may be a little broken but not dead.
I looked forward to being around more. Thanks for letting me be apart of your home here!!

Welcome..and good luck with surgery and recovery friend!

Welcome, brother! I hear ya about the 180 turn around. I had to have spinal surgery and I was off weights (of any real weight) for a year. You will recover and be better than before. :)

Thanks everyone. My surgery went great!! I'm lying in my room niw waiting on breakfast.I was able to take a few syeps yesterday about 4 hrs after my hip-joint replacement. The Dr's and nurses are amazed at the shape I'm in physically even though I have arthritis. From the time they told me in Oct I forced myself to walk everyday no matter how much it hurt. And v I would get someone to help me get in the floor to do push up and plank I ng when I could bare the pain!! I knew my muscle would atrophy if I just lwid around feeling sorry for myself. When I get home I strart nY form of rehab therapy.I was blessed with a few friends who really stepped up and helped because they knew this litterally cost me every dime I have had due to not bein g able to work and my disbabilty check being delayed because out govt is greedy.Heres my current pl a n:
HGH 2 IU's a day
Mk677 10 tp 20 mg's a night
Test cyp/eth 600mg's a week split dose
Deca 300 mg (Theraputic dose)
And Anavar 50-100 mg's ED
I believe this run will really help speend recovery and slow down my arthritis
From here on out I will only concern myself with staying around the same weight and focus on Strength and cut.At my age and having arthritis m o re weight will only hurt my joints.

Been a while since I posted and been one crazy long yr in 2018!! Thanks again everyone and I'll be around more now!! See a few familiar faces!!!

Tell me more about the procedure I’m about to replace hip . Though in 95 did restructure my spine successful. No AAS , high doses of vitamins C , calcium complex showed on monthly MRI that it worked . Definitely do that

The surgery itself wasn't bad at all. They take the leg bone and drive a spike in it which is attached to what looks like a ball-n-socket joint on a car they glue into your hip.Youre in and out of the hostpital in a little over 24 hrs.The worst part is the first 2-3 weeks afterwards.I have a whole new "10" on my pain scale now!!! I've never felt anything like that and I've broke bone, shot nails thru my hand and been thru MRSA and Shingles!! All together don't equal what I felt the first week. Its strange not being able to walk at first. It takes a few weeks to even put in real weight on it.You'll have a therapist cone to your house a few times a week to work with you.For the first 6 months to a year you have to be careful how you bend and squat down so you don't pop it out of place.I feel it now in cold damp weather like we're having where I live now and sitting on hard surfaces is uncomfortable. But it's better than the alternative I promise brother!!! It's hard to explain but I'm just now able to RUN at all For the longest time my body just wouldn't let me.I know that sounds strange but after the surgery you'll understand what I mean.I wish you luck with it and please keep me updated and if I can help at all just hit me up!!

Sounds worse then spine surgery but in pain all round clock now . However short stay in hospital?

They use to keep you in for at least a week ,but with insurance the way it is now it's cheaper for them to send you home and have a therapist come out.The first week was hell on Earth!! OMG I hate the thoughts of going thru it again. You cant put any pressure on the leg or hip.Just going to the bathroom was agony!! If you don't have someone committed to staying right next to you 24hrs a day my suggestion in stay in a care facility outside the hostpital.I went thru hell!!!! You don't think about all you have to do when you're able to move around freely.
