Hey guys, I'm about to start my next cycle tren hex 100mg twice a week with sustanon 250 mg twice a week, but I will be starting a keto diet with the cycle, any thoughts on keto while running a cycle?? My stats are 6ft 200lbs 35yo around 13% body fat

You tryna cut I assume. Have you done keto b4. If done right the weight will peel off quickly

No issues with ketosis on cycle, it allows you to keep you calories higher with the good fats to make solid gains and drop body fat..

Quality of of food especially, good quality fats makes a difference in quality of results when in ketosis

I've done it running Tren A mast prop and test E. Dropped 28lbs in 4 weeks, majority was fat. Definitely shredded up fast. You'll love it, just make sure to keep the electrolytes high

Good to hear, no I havnt done keto before but I heard nothing but good things about it, my body is pretty toned up but I struggle with lower belly fat, I can't seem to shake it..... I also heard that ketosis doesn't only help u loose weight but also drasticly improves your over all health even curing certain illnesses, I'm starting with a 25 grams of carbs a day limit

Ur going to feel like shit for a few days but push past it, once you do u wont wven have carb cravings anymore. You also get a mental type clarity...hard to explain

Interested in this as well.

For those of you that have experience with it...you guys ever actually put on size while adhering to keto?

Yes doing keto can 100% add size. Also once you are fat adapted you can have higher amounts of carbs and stay in ketosis. I'd keep my carb intake around 100 grams per day after I'm fat adapted. Also when you start the diet, you won't experience keto flu if you make sure your electrolytes are high. Very good diet for fast fat loss as well as maintaining muscle and adding size. I dropped from 259 to 222 in 4 weeks and I look bigger than I did at 259. Hence mostly dropped fat so I look like a freak ;)

Thanks for the input man. I have been considering giving it a try, but a couple people who are big on ketosis told me that I would lose a ton of size.

You'll only lose size if not eating enough. At first adapting to fat can seem hard or even discouraging, but I assure you doing keto the right way you'll add size. Most ppl think keto has to be low or moderate protein but that's far from truth. It 100% doesn't matter how much protein you eat the diet still works. And I'm living proof of that. I never kept track of how much protein I would eat but I would say I would at least be 300 to 500 grams per day, if not more on occasions. The only thing I kept track of was net carbs. Not actual carbs but net carbs! This means if there is fiber in something you're eating you would subtract total carbs minus fiber minus sugar alcohol. I will say out of every diet I have done the ketogenic diet would be my favorite for very fast fat loss and overall well-being. You'll have mental clarity which can be hard to explain but just think of it as you'll be able to think better, feel better, and have more energy. But like I said before to not experience the keto flu you'll have to supplement on electrolytes, if not you'll get headaches and you'll feel sick.

That all makes sense man.

Yea I think that was someone's reasoning when explaining why it would NOT work...they were saying that true keto is actually pretty low on protein...so I wouldn't not consume enough protein to maintain/build additional muscle tissue.

Exactly! I found the diet works perfectly well by having very high amounts of protein which hence I don't lose any muscle mass. I mean it's possible I have lost a little but to be honest I look bigger than I did and I drop 30 pounds. But yes the diet still works by doing high protein very low carb at first until you're fat adapted and high fat.

Thanks man. Really appreciate the detailed responses.

I'm trying to change my diet and training. I leaned out from like 215 to 195 this summer...over about 4 months. Got really lean...but lost a lot of size too.

I just don't seem to be able to put on size or lose fat like I could when I was 25 (I'm 30 now). I'm stronger now...but feel smaller.

No problem man. Yeah that definitely would get frustrating. Have you ever thought about running test very high for a longer period of time? I've found for myself it works wonders. In fact the gains were better than any other cycle I've ran. Try to run test alone for minimal 6 months at least 1,000 to 1250mgs. I run test year round and when I go on my cuts I'll lower it. But try it once, stay on test only and run it high! Strength will be phenomenal, you'll gain nice size and keep the gains. I talked my buddy into it and he loves it. Thanks me all the time haha.

You know, now that I think of it...the best gains I made were when I ran test higher back in the day. 750mg I think...usually with Deca.

I've been of the less is more mindset the last year or so...trying to be healthier, lol.

Less is more In this type of lifestyle. But high test is very safe so no worries my man.

I feel like that’s a little over the top in my opinion. 13% body fat isn’t bad I think kick the Tren up to like 300mgs a week and get your macros right. It’s 80% diet
