he might be sincere but he kinda pulled the same thing with rambo and i. he was telling me i am such a nice guy for fronting him lol, then he burned me. at this point dred i wouldnt give him info to send funds even if he wanted to. i dont trust him

I would only believe that if he actually followed through on making the guys affected whole again but once people get burned it would be hard to trust someone like DietMTNDEW7 again. To me getting burned once means would not trust that person again.

hi d red. at this point i wouldnt give him a addy to send the funds because he cant be trusted. but he did write to me after i made this thread and he wanted to make it right, of course he never made it right and never replied. he told me he scammed me because another source scammed him, not joking lol
he paid me for a kit of gh for you.

That's why I'm glad for the last 12yrs or so I've kept the same handle on all the different boards I'm on and won't do business of any kind, trades, sell/buy, etc, with anyone who I don't know as an established member on at least a few boards. Not that it makes for a foolproof way but def cuts down on getting burned.

He owes me but I can't remember amount. I am ok if he doesn't pay me. I've learned from 1 of my mentors to "take loss, cut ties and move on (since there are plenty other things to worry about lol)".
I am glad that he is trying to make amends and wish him the best. Last comment before I finish doing dishes lol is KARMA.

I dont know how scammers can look in the mirror at themselves. This guy seems to be trying to make some amends, but to do what he did in the 1st place is lame.
I normally lean in the other direction when it comes to things. My daughters friend came to Disney w/ us recently, wife told her we'll order plane tix, and all park tix, she can pay us back when we return. (Easily over 1500.00).
When we got back, she said "how much do I owe you" , i told her "zero, its on me". Little things like that. To go out of your way to scam people for gear, total douche move..
