Cut vs Swole

So as I've become familiar with a few of you guys thru the HCU comp, I see most of you want to lean out and cut. In general though especially for those not competing, what look are you striving for lean & cut or big & swole?
Chime in.. Let the HCU Brothers know.....

I guess im going to have to go with swole....i dont see a cut in my future. Been bulking for 44yrs...lol
 
Shoot I'm not sure what age you guys are but I'm about to be 43 and honestly bulking is such a task for me as I'm not naturally a big eater. I've gained a lot of respect for powrlifters and heavyweights alike who can put the size on and maintain. I can cut no problem, I can walk away from carbs all day but really struggle with force feeding 5k worth of calories.

Just add as. 53 this year .
 
Cut for me. I'm around 190 now and don't wanna get but about ten more lbs and then cut up. I'm a super hard gainer so cutting is easy and I do it for a hobby. Anything over 200 is spot of weight to carry around
 
Cut for sure. My priorities have done a complete 180 over the past few years. Age and health became became priority number one.

Just want to look good naked!
 
Cut for sure anyone can get swole big and cut shows a lot more dedication

Right in the middle lol that's what I want I'm 5'9" and about 205 I would like to walk around at 215-220 and like 10% body fat but we can only dream right. I'm hoping in a couple years I'll be at my desired size.
 
lol pooh! yes she does!! I like a split in the middle. I am not dedicated enough to eat that well and be ripped. I just love Pizza to much! 6-1' And a lean 235-240 would be great which I have the weight now just turning my fat into muscle. And its happening over the last year for sure!! I love to lift heavy or what I call heavy working up to 400 only at a 325 bench now, hope for 365 end of year and on from there. Problem has been getting minor injuries and slowing down here and there!! Is 40# in the next 3 months possible I DONT NO!!
 
Right now I'm working on getting my swole back, after a few years of slacking. I lost a good bit of my weight/mass. I've found that it's a little easier to get it back this time around (with a little help, of course). I like to walk around at about 10-12% bf.
