What do you take to remedy cramps? I get them all the time in my hamstring and quads. I take potassium pills to try to help but they don't seem to do much. I drink water all day I'm sure a gallon or more.
I get them usually at night when I lay down for bed

Try some Poweraid Zero, or look for an electrolyte supplement. Potassium supplements don't have much potassium in them at all. I bet you piss and sweat out a lot of your electrolytes.

I just started using an intra workout supplement that has electrolytes, carbs and bcaas. Xtend Endure, seems to help a lot. I piss out a lot of my electrolytes and sweat a lot also. It's worse in the Summer though. Just started using this supp and it does seem to help somewhat. Not gonna drink it daily though, just during training. Supplements are expensive and I really don't like spending money on them.

Do you think Pedialyte is overkill for electrolytes?

I would think some banannas with pb would help with those cramps. Also check out Labrada lean body RTD shakes - they have an even balance of sodium and potassium. Be careful with potassium supplements, read somewhere recently that the chemical used in lethal injections to arrest the heart is potassium hcl.

Sodium, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium are the main electrolytes. Out of those 4, magnesium is the mineral most people eating a western diet don't get enough of. I would try taking some extra magnesium in the form of glycinate or taurate. Orange juice is actually pretty good at replacing electrolytes as it has a boat load of potassium and about 6 percent of your daily requirement for mag in a serving if you don't mind the sugar.

I've recently added pedialite. And I wish I would have a long time ago I truly feel better
