Clen side effects

I recently got some Clenbuterol 40mcg pills and started with the recommended first time dosage of 20mcg's on day one. On day two I took 20mcg's in the morning and did not feel as if I had taken any at all. About 9hrs after my morning dose, I took another 20mcg's (40mcg's total for the day) and within 30 minutes I had a crazy reaction. The first thing I noticed was my throat swelled up horribly to the point where I could barely swallow any water. Next, I felt like I was having the worst chest pain/cramp of my life. I don't think I had a heart problem, but more like the clen dilated my airway to the point of causing pain. My heart rate and blood pressure was normal as well as my body temperature. For the first 8 hours of the reaction I seriously though I needed to go to the hospital, but the reaction slowly subsided over a three day period!

Has anyone ever ran into a problem where the dosage was completely off on their clen? I wonder if I should just trash this clen and go with a more reputable source here?

Sounds weird. What brand is it? I've never had a bad reaction to clen but I''ve only ever used pharm clen. Im using sopharma clen right now at 120mcg 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. Not sure I would use anything else but pharm grade when it comes to clen just my opinion.

I have taken clen several times and the protocol back then was, for a male, take 40mcg on day one and ramp up the dose according to the sides and feeling you get. Your body gets accustomed or used to it fast which means the dose should be upped as sides diminish every couple of days. It is recommended to use it for 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off to give your body time to deplete it from your system, it is recommended to never go over 200mcg in a single day, this is also why it should be cycled every two weeks because by the end of two weeks you may be close to the 200mcg a day point. I have like pills for clen better than liquids, I just never got the same feeling off liquid. Now I haven't taken clen pills in quite some time, when I had got them it was international and they came in a tiny white bottle with a label in Chinese, they were super tiny like smaller than a pinky finger nail. The best clen ever!!! I would shake and sweat like crazy, I lost 35lbs in 5 weeks on it.

Throat swelling sounds like an alergic reaction... stop using it asap... it may not b the clen that u r alegic to it may b the fillers they use when they press the pills... my suggestion is get pharm... sphrama is g2g

I agree with this. Those are all signs and symptoms of a possible allergic reaction and I would DC it right away. I too believe its not possbly from the clen but from the fillers used in assisting in making it tab form.

Clen at time can be a little too harsh for me as I get horrible shakes on just 40mcg.

I never really though of an allergic reaction. That is a very good point that seems to fit better than incorrect dose. At the time, I didn't want to take a benadryl for fears that it would extend the effects of the clen, not realizing it was probably just a reaction. I'm going to get some clen from a reputable source that's pharm grade so I can feel more comfortable in taking it. Clen's 24-36hr half life is ridiculous and kind of scary when dosages are measured in micrograms!
