Bodybuilding has never been my thing, I'm an ex athlete who just now tames pride in looking as good as possible.

My avatar pic is me from late summer, and I constantly get asked if I compete and encouraged to do local shows. Never appealed to me, but easy money does.

Stats and key info about me:

5'10 (5'9 if you ask my friends lol)
209 lbs
7-8% bf? (Guessing)

Training: 2-3 days max for the last 7 months
Diet: B- (being generous- i eat bad and not enough most of the time)

**NEVER ran hgh or slin
**NEVER eat to bulk (300g+ protein for 1-2 months)
**NEVER ran dbol, deca or gone over 750mg Test (~150-250mg test/week for months now)

Obviously I know i dont compare to heavy weights who have 50-90 lbs on me and are leaner, I am just curious what those of you in the know might think about what my realslistic expectations and potential are given my physique and the fact that I half ass it compared to those who take it seriously, and haven't touched some of the gamebreakers like HgH.

Tear me down, diss me, i csn handle it... just give a detailed critique if you do so and it will be respected.

Thanks guys.

There is no money in local show none you will spend a ton of money doing them if its snot a passion don't do it the process is painful and it has too be something you want

Well the pic doesn't reflect everything but you would need to cut to 4-5% bf for Physique which you seem to have a frame for as your traps aren't too pronounced. Classic is likely a better option as you can compete in the height and weight class. Although I think for your height you will still need sub 200.

Yeah but he says over and over he isn't really interested in it but want money and until you become top level pro there is no money at all it costs money and prep is brutal you really have too love it

Money... Haaa average show is a few hundred that doesn't include tanning and room and travel. If your doing this for money just quit now... Unless you are a top pro you will always end up losing money in this. Even with sponsors this isn't profitable for most.

FWIW, i look leaner and more vascular than that in other pics, i putthat one up bc my chest is more pronounced... i have veins running down my lower abs, back tris and upper thighs/hips when im lean.

I took that shit after being up for 3 dsys partying, and yes my traps as well as my bis are lacking at that point lol.

I appreciate your critique. Again, this is with minimal effort, fucked diet and no hgh and very low doses.

Sponsers lmao oh a free Pre workout and protein powder once a month too flash them all over your social media work there booths at expos and maybe get something if people use your discount code

You look good bro all I'm saying is don't compete unless your passionate about it because there is absolutely no reward other than satisfaction you will spend thousands too get a plastic trophy and a couple trinkets from vendors .

I'm in So,Cal, brotha, shows are within an hour, I'm olive skinned and tan easily.

Not looking to get rich, few hundred bucks right now would be right up my alley.

My juice expenses are minimal, also- im running 50mg test prop, 300mg primo and 50mg anadrol in that pic.

Appreciate the concern and having to take factors into consideration.

Your not going too make a cent not one red cent I've been competing a long time there is no prize money on the amature level none

First you are not a Pro- so you would do good in amateur show- most arent ripped so you got that. If you have long term goals then you know what to do - OR stay off anything and in 9 months you would qualify for a Natural Tested Show and you actually would place high

The only thing you win is respect that's it no money don't know where you heard that and olive skin huh bro you still have too get sprayed or you will fade out on stage even black guys get sprayed bro. You obviously know very little about competitive bodybuilding its an expensive hobby not a career unless you go pro then you make squat until you get in the top 15

Ya, i feel you, it was just a thought bc i get approached about it a lot. FWIW, i lookbetter in person, ive been approached by some top level female competitors with some glowing compliments, whatever that is worth lol.

I'm probably over it before it started, but I wanted real feedback and you guys have given me that, thank you.

Not passionate about bodybuilding, but i am about winning anything lol. Guess i wa just curious where i could go with more effort, gh, etc.

You're right, i do know little about it compared to you guys.

That's why I'm asking.

Here's the layout for a show
1000 in drugs
NPC card 100
150 bucks a category for your first 3 novice open and your class
100 tanning
A coach if you want too win or not rebound horribly after because you really didn't diet down correctly
Payout = plastic trophy and jug of protein powder with pat on the back

Appreciste the realness.

I was only interested in local amateur shows where I wouldn't need to really up my drug intake much, get a coach or all that other crap.

Honeztly, my group of friends, winning that trophy gets me more shit, not respect lol... and i wouldn't brag to anyone about winning a local show.

I'll just pass go and collect easy bj's on the way- my REAL passion for training! lol

Like others said, with your mindset (and we have the same) it's probably best to pass on a competition.

I've never competed and don't really have the desire to get on stage. Like you, My avatar is on 125mgs of test on a loose diet. My shoulders are 54 inches and my waist is a 31. I'm 6'2 and fluctuate between 215-230.

You have a great physique. But realistically, You and I probably started for the same single reason..... ASS! Lol

I have a career and am more interested in making money than getting on stage. However, I respect every guy that gets up there because it's no fucking joke.

Easy money? You'll spend a lot of money to prep and if you place, you'll get a trophy LOL

Like it has been said there is no money unless you go pro. Hence professional. You will spend a fortune. I have at least a couple grand wrapped up in this prep and it is my 1st show ever. Between gear and food and supps and a coach it is far from cheap. At your size I would say physique or classic physique but there are light weight bodybuilders. I just don't get it. Lol. I am 202 at 5% and still feel tiny. And I only stand 5'8"... Contest prep is hard bro. Not just the physical aspect but the mental. I have been losing my mind. Especially having a family and a full time job. I encourage everyone to follow a dream but if it is not something you truly have a passion for then I would not recommend it
