I just recently started using bitcoin for payments usuing my Mycelium wallet, but every time i have sent BTC for payment i am being told im including the fee and they cannot locate the transaction? Is this the "Miner Fee" that shows on Mycelium transaction at the bottom of the page? n

My question is if i send 1.0 bitcoin to a outside wallet and say the "miner fee" is 0.5 bitcoin, the receiving party is only getting .5 bitcoin? I thought this shit would be 10x better then using WU or MG but right now not so sure, any help appreciated

Never used that wallet but yea it passes the fee on to the receiver I’ve noticed. The sources I use just absorb the loss which is kinda fair considering that they don’t have to chase down the money and it’s allot faster and safer for them.

The sources i am using are not absording the fees which really is slowing the entire process down and makes the order much more lengthy. I dont understand how we are supposed to off set the fee since you dont know what it is until the transcation is complete? Just add $10 or something more in BTC for each purchase?

Should be able to find out what your wallets fee % is and then do the math on it I suppose. That sounds pretty frustrating, sorry to hear that

I think you should look up your wallet or the receivers wallet on http://www.blockchain.org/ and it will show the amount received in USD as Total Received, since the fee is variable I always send a couple more dollars which is not a lot considering what we are dealing with

My source sent me same link but it dosent work. I know with Mycellium, i have the option of lowering the fee but transaction will take a bit longer.
