Hey fellas, I've been dieting, or at least what I consider dieting lol for a few weeks, and I'm leaning out in my face arms and legs but I have a bloated belly still. Anyone else with this problem or know how to fix it? I'm sure to answer the question you may need more information, and as much info as I've gathered from this wonderful board I don't always interpret everything very well. I have a learning disability that makes it difficult for me to read between the lines or pick out today bits of info from long articles and such, any help is appreciated guys

I get the same thing. I’ve incorporated more fiber in my diet....I use Metamucil everyday. I also bloat after any amount of carbs in my diet.

I'm dieting right now also and I get the bloat. How is the metamucil working out for you? Did it significantly remove the bloat. If so I'm gonna go buy some today.

For me I am retaining some water for sure because I'm on dbol and test. But I'm also not going to the can like I was before I started dieting. I feel backed up some.

Gotcha...the water retention could be eased by maybe a little adjustment of your anti-e. Being backed up sucks...I would also suggest to add a little more fiber into your diet or adding an OTC product to reduce constipation.

Yeah I've been a little inconsistent with my adex I'm gonna take .5 right now. I don't think I've been getting much fiber at all. I've been doing the chicken and rice during the day and turkey burgers using lettuce instead of a bun for dinner.

What are some things you fellas like to make for meal prep days

For me I'm just learning about the nutrition part of the game. But I cut up 5 lbs of boneless skinless chicken breasts into about 1 1/2 to 2 inch squares and cook it up in coconut oil in a pan on low heat. Then I make 2-4 cups of white rice. I put the chicken in a big plastic container then I take what I need 3-4 times a day. Every time I add 1/2 -1 cup of rice. I like to add balsamic vinegar, pepper and garlic powder for some sodium free flavor. I cook the chicken 2-3 times a week like this so from 10-15 lbs of chicken. Also I like to have raw spinach or Brussel sprouts but those are usually at dinner. For dinner every night I have 1 pound of turkey burger made into patties and I use lettuce for a bun.

The only thing I prep are my proteins, brown rice and sweet potatoes. I only prep chicken and beef. I steam my veggies and have salads every night with my evening meal.

Metamucil works well. I only use it when I need it. When I’m on cycle my regularity varies for sure. I get most of my bloat from excess gas and irregularity....just my experience.

Anti-E’s makes sense too if you’re retaining water.

"Bingo" , ma was right !! Eat your vegetables, all sorts, and a Salad, "or two" a day. Fresh first, frozen next, canned last. But veggies go s long way toward "no, or low-bloat" , and seriously assist with dieting.

Good way to keep away bloat and add a little fiber is raw oats. I blend one cup of oats with 1 cup strawberries and whey protein two times a day. Total between the oats and strawberries that adds 20 grams of fiber per day.

Strawberries are my go to with vitamin c, antioxidants, and they have a lower glycemic index than most other fruits.

Also make sure to keep drinking a gallon of water per day and sodium levels not too crazy.

Probiotics. My gf has bugged me for the past 2 years to take it so I finally incorporated it into my daily routine about 2 months ago and voila! My bloating is gone and I poop normally. I was usually constipated when I was on a deficit but probiotics cured that right up. Give it a try.

I cut back on carbs and got a dirulect from wallmart. Took for a couple days and the bloat went away. Plus a good dose of Epsom salt to clean out. 2 big spoon fills in a glass of water. If you take it before bed. Don't go on a road trip next day.lol

Hahahaha maybe a clense isn't a bad idea

Big O how are you brother? I dropped about 30lbs since late February. Went real real low carbs, counting everything I ate, but couldn’t keep the bloat away. Started eating a small salad with my meat at lunch and that helped a lot. Started adding in small amounts of fruit and vegetables for small snacks and no problem. Seemed to do the trick.
