Assholes busted my gear!!

The point is a pit bull was at the home it happened at so yours at your house doesn't do much.... just saying!!!!
He basically said his pit was too gentle himself....
The bottom line is a pit bull isn't a good guard dog.
They are known for their strong jaws and if you allow them to display aggression they will hurt your own kids and sometimes u.
A dog that is a true terrier like a Jack Russell has the proper temperment to get the job done and not opposed potential harm for family members.
Your dog how he does will things that bit back lol! Like a coon
Happy Easter buddy if your dog didn't eat the Bunny. Lol just saying

All I'm saying is that you're generalizing way too much. There's so many different lines and temperaments of pits. Pits were bred to ignore pain and continue to fight.
I do agree some of them aren't good "watch dogs" at all when the owner isn't home but if the owner is put in danger they completely change.

Sorry guys if I offended any pit bull owners.
But I happen to have trained dogs most of my life and am very familiar with bloodline breeding and tempermemts, because when breeding it's necessary seeking traits of breeds or to create something for a purpose.
Terriers are very protective and aloof to strangers.
Terriers were breed to be so bold and compact that when they got off that horse and went into a fox, badger, or otter hole.... the culprit rather get out that hole face men on horses with guns and blood hounds than stay in that hole with that little terrier.
If a pit didn't work at the home that all I meant.
Any real terrier would bark so much alone the intruder would have to leave even if dog was in back yard.
I own pit Bulls I love them but the boldest most confident dog always rules the rost. Not the strongest if that were the case how would we have these large breeds. It's called a pecking order with dogs.
I don't fight dogs and have no intention but I do have to use them to control predators and pest in rice and crawfish fields.
In the wild nothing is civilized and there are breed bred for purposes!!!!

I only suggested to him because he had a pit at home.
Truly. Have a happy Easter!!!
No offense I only suggested what would make someone no wanna be there. A loud dog that doesn't shut up that is protective and won't kill anyone

Nah man absolutely no offense taking. I love most of bread of dogs. But either way my pit is a big baby and wonderful with my daughter but doesn't like anyone he doesn't know. But it was my fault I never really thought I'd ever have problems where I was at if it was really nice out and I wasn't going to be gone long or at least thought I wouldn't be I'd just put him out back and let him play until I got back and give him food and water out there he had no access back into the house but like I said my fault I was gone for 5-6 hours. From now on he will always be inside if I'm not home. Just don't want it to happen again. Screw the gear that was lost and everything else broken but for the safety of my daughter and gf my daughter is only 3 years old and my girl is only 5ft and pretty small I'd never forgive myself if something happened to them especially over something like this. But it's all solved now. Appreciate everyone's help. Happy Easter everyone. Hope you all enjoyed the holiday!
