Anyone have success with Short Cycles

The older I get the more I am starting to hate the sides of longer cycle. I've always been a proponent of longer cycles (12+ weeks) rotating or increasing compounds at sticking points. But I'm at the point in my life where the sides just aren't worth it anymore. Dialing in estrogen has become a chore and I feel much better on my TRT dose mentally and physically. I was wondering if anyone here has tried shorter, higher does cycles. The thought would be to hit it hard and fast for 6 weeks with short esters and orals and by the time the sides start to get bad get back on TRT. Since we only have 6 weeks to work with I would plan on using higher doses to gain as much as possible. For example:

1.2g test weeks 1-6
30mg SD weeks 1-6
25mg MK weeks 1-6
5mg cjc with dac weeks 1-6
possibly 5iu GH per day and pre workout slin

or

350mg test weeks 1-6
700mg npp weeks 1-6
100mg drol weeks 1-3
30mg SD weeks 1-3
25mg MK weeks 1-6
5mg cjc with dac weeks 1-6
possibly 5iu GH per day and pre workout slin

I know these doses may not seem high to some but based on my past cycling it would be high to me. My real concern would be what gains I can hold on this on just my TRT as I've always felt that the longer your body holds a certain weight the easier it is to hold it with less. Anyone have any experience with this?

I've always liked the idea of short cycles. Easier to recover your hpta (if you do come off) and mentally you can push yourself really hard for 6 weeks compared to 12+ where your coasting half the time or waiting for compounds to kick in.

I would def use test prop, npp, and plenty of dbol and anadrol myself. Maybe M1T or SD too.

Short cycles are great to get the most, it's easy to push hard 4-8 weeks. I tend to hit a wall in gains from appetite, side effects, lack of motivation etc around 6-8 week mark. Great for harsher compounds and easier to control and adjust doses. MG per MG, short esters have more of the hormone. It's also annoying to pin 12-16 weeks straight.

even with test p id do atleast 8 weeks and maybe 4-6 on orals...Thats still short compared to what many are doing now.. I always felt 10 weeks was perfect for lon esters maybe 8 for short and orals I'd cheat and do 8 weeks instead of 4

I would like to give short cycles a try, and I am considering an 8-10 week one. Is that an optimal plan?

I used to do short cycles when I was younger using only test suspension in water or TNE in oil to minimize suppression and make pct easier. I do believe it helped avoid suppressing my endogenous testosterone production.
I found that using a peptide regimen of mod grf 1-29 and a ghrp seemed to help with retaining gains. Nowadays I prefer HGH and peptides if I can get peptides that I trust. I really only trust peptides that I have tested.
I still think the fact that I had a very solid natural base was the most important factor in keeping my gains. Once my body got used to being a certain weight naturally I only dropped below that when I couldn't train for several months due to an injury.
The only irritating thing was when friends and family would notice that I'd put on a bit of muscle since they'd last seen me. They just don't understand that I worked for many years naturally to build that base doing workouts that they would never attempt. Several of my cousins have tried various AAS and complain that they put on a quick 20lb of what I knew is water and lose it as soon as they stop. They don't want to hear that their diet of cigarettes, beer, and junk food along with never training might have something to do with it.
I chose to start HRT a couple of years ago due to the fact that I was on opiates for so long including suboxone for several years after the injury. Even then I was "in range" at 38 but I was tired of having to use PCT drugs, although the wet dreams and spontaneous ejaculations when I'd see an attractive woman when using toremifene were kind of fun. I still use toremifene sometimes when I don't have HCG, it is pretty effective as a substitute.

Thanks for all the input.

I definitely agree with the locking in element. You can really hammer down and tune out distractions for 4-6 weeks and go all in which is another appealing aspect. Andrew what are your experiences with 4 weeks cycles if you don't mind sharing? I know 4 weeks into a cycle with short esters I am getting good gains but for me 6 weeks is where things really are optimal. But then again that's also when estro starts to be an issue, and Idk if I can run tren anymore for a full 6 weeks without becoming a basket case.

One thing I wonder is if the largest benefit of a short cycle is to be able to hit it again shortly after. Like I am starting to believe 6 weeks won't do much in the long run if its done 1-2 times year but rotating 6 weeks on 4 off or 4 weeks on 2 off would be optimal. Make the body grow in spurts which is how I notice I grow on longer cycles as well. Any thoughts?

I feel all that on / off stuff every 4-6 weeks is crazy. Test doses would be yoyoing up and down so frequently if you plan on doing what 4-5 PCT's a year? I'd come off and stay off double time on or blast for 4-6 wks then cruise a couple months then blast again and stay on until your good and ready to do a real PCT and let your body adjust to the new size naturally...

I'd say 4-6 weeks is way too short IMO, but what about 8-10 weekers?

I know I’m hitting an older thread , but with the time on/time off... if not cruising. Do you feel 2 long bigger cycles (like 12-14 wks) a year or 3-4 or so shorter cycles (8 weeks) ?

14wks gives your body time to acclimate to the new muscle gains, invest in a good pct and you can recover just as quick from a 14 wk as you could an 8...
