Staying Healthy on Gear

I have become more and more concerned with doing things as safely as possible. I want to take the minimal effective dose of gear to accomplish my goals.

What supplements do you guys uutilize for health purposes on and off cycle? Obviously I realize that diet plays a big role here as well.

I currently use:

CoQ10 (200mg)
Fish oil (5g)
AAKG/Citruline combo (not sure)
Multi
Vitamin C
Vitamin D3
Nattokinase
Hawthorne Berry
TUDCA
 
You are taking a good combination of supplements. I also take most of the same. I'd add UDCA and either NAC or glutathione, or do like I do and alternate the two. I also take Curcumin, pomegranate extract, vitamins D&K are a great addition to the fish oil and Coq10 for cardiac health. Lot of good science behind all these. I also take a vitamin E called gamma E that is a mix of tocopherol and tocotrienols. For my Hawthorne I use a product called CardioPeak from Life Extension, it has a couple other good ingredients. Don't overdo it with the supplements. Like everything else sometimes you can have too much of a good thing. I take small breaks from everything except my multivitamin, fish oil, Coq10, vitamin E, and Curcumin. Those I take every day. Keeping your dosages low and staying away from harsh compounds is the most important thing. No amount of supplements are going to help if you are abusing then and anadrol for instance. I pretty much only use testosterone and HCG that I'm prescribed now, I feel best on that.
 
Vitamins and other supplements can be a big help when on gear. With the recent deaths of Rich Plans and Dallas McCarver it makes health a very important issue among the lifters and people who are into active lifestyles.

U have to wach the fish oil cuz it has dha in it bud wich is bad for colesterol... the only one that does not have dha is FDA approved lovaza or vicepa... so to recap yes fish oil good for anti inflammatory but bad for colesterol

Really?

I thought that fish oil had a positive effect on cholesterol???
 
Yes sir dha and EPA both raise ldl levels... vicsepa is the only one that's FDA approved and has no dha... pretty expensive tho... I get a persciption for it every 60 days... often offer it in the trade section for $100... that's a great deal because it retails for $280 for 120 caps... have some now if anyone is interested pm me

If that was true though, everyone who eats fish would have abnormally high LDL levels.

No that's not what it means... it means that if u have cholesterol issues u should eat less fish... and also people like us that use aas our cholesterol is up and down because some aas mess with lipid profiles... so to achieve healthy levels of cholesterol u have to watch your fat intake especially after getting off a cycle... tnx
