I woke up with a vision i wanted to attempt 600 today and was having a off day. I ended up going for 585 didnt struggle too much. I think the key to success is simply believing in yourself and havimg no fear.

Since i started powerlifting less than a year ago ive made huge leaps and never have i doubted myself. You have to be able to envision yourself doing it. Im really happy ill be competing again end of this year.

This is what my sessions over 500 always end up like lol thes small pics are killimg me well theres a nice blood spatter

If you have fear or dont have the confidence you can fail on warmup weights with deads or at least in my experience. I like to set a 3 or 5 rm pr then Ill know my 1rm is up and usually goes easy. Pulled 660@ 210 couple weeks ago easy. Was going to do 7 plates but felt that fkd with my head even though after i pulled 660 realized it would of been perfect. Decided to wait a few weeks but now mentally I know I can do it and wont hesitate or be slow at start which fks up the whole lift..

Very true alot is mental.... Im aiming for 700 by oct but only need 666 to beat the state record. Im planning on taking all 3 stste records but we will see

Awesome bro...Im hoping to have 700 around the same time. Im sure Ill have it soon just hoping I can do it in upcoming meet in fall... I was positive I had it last year then tore lat with opener(open super light to) lol...
