Over the years while ive become more informed of different training techniques, I have always been told and heard of Pyramids. For the most part ive stuck to high volume with partials and drop sets so a stack is rather foreign to me. What about you fellas, any thoughts on Pyramids for mass or cutting development?

Usually I don't strictly relate a training schedule to my diet program, I just use heavier weights if I'm "bulking" (building up strength and lean mass).
As for pyramids, I love doing fundamental exercises (benches, lifts, squats, rows, etc.) with 6 sets each, going like 20-15-13-10-8-6 reps and the next day I do the same exercise I would perform (in example) the 20 reps set with the weight I used for the 15 reps set the day before that.
Works wonders, I know it may sound absurd and there are a lot of variables, but last time I did this I ended up lifting 20 reps of the weight I lifted 6 times at the beginning.
Some may say that it's wrong to start your sets with the higher number of reps, because you find your muscles doing the heaviest set for last, when it's almost exhausted. For this reason many may suggest the inverse pyramid.
