Guys anyone who is into PL and have friends and "friends" all know that one guy who's setting a "world record"(lol) every meet. I have a buddy who sets records everytime saying things like" Im doing meet X because I'll get the record bench for my class, record total for state and world record for masters single ply with one sock record" lol...Pretty close to that and its frustrating because I think he really believes it. I really don't give a fk about any records unless it's across the board meaning all, feds, and actual WORLD record being the whole world. For example RPS has a world record certificate...You have to TELL THEM when you set one they check and you pay cash for a piece of paper saying your a world record champ...LMAO. RPS as much as I love it, doesnt have every country in the fed and as matter a fact I think they have only done USA meets maybe one or two other countries POSSIBLY.
Im sorry if I sound like jealous or a prick its just hearing it from many people gets annoying and confusing... Not to mention PL has raw, raw with knee sleeves,raw with wraps, singlke ,ply ,multi ply , submasters(which I qualify for if I wanna pay 80bux for an extra lousy trophy,) masters,,,wtf...LOL I forgot TESTED/NONTESTED and Im 99% sur the "elite" guys just use short ester and stop a week or 2 out..... Thanks and sorry for the rant

Bring back the WPO or the old record breaker meets that were in Hawaii. Best of the best showed up.

Gus Rethwisch used to run those old Hawaii meets. He runs the WABDL now (bench and DL only) and they put on a decent yearly "Worlds" meet in Vegas.
But ya, the number of Feds, and the folks who chase every record (hard to keep up with) are the type that like to brag, etc. Trust me, one of my friends is one of those annoying pricks.
