Paid Email accounts.

Aren't they really only secure if the other person is using the same provider like securenym.net sent to securenym.net?

Securenym serves r in the USA bro and not that secure at all

I believe there were handed subpoenas a few years back but had nothing to give it was encrypted unlike what hush-mail did years ago.

pupu Whats your thoughts on using well known free email accounts such as gmail, outlook/live and yahoomail when personal subjects are discussed? I noticed that gmail is commmonly used by sources whenever these types emails are used. Is there something about gmail that more attractive than outlook/live and yahoomail?

I used to see red flags when sources uses these types of emails but nowadays I don't fear them anymore....which could be due to being complacent which is no good when wanting to keep personal matter private between you and who you send to ONLY.

(sorry if this topic has already been discussed....)

I would not recommend anyone using those types of email for personal info..

Ugh I never use Gmail, Yahoo, hotmail, etc for sensitive stuff as my real name (and address) is attached to them. Only things I use those for are newsletters, subscriptions to technical journals, personal emails to family or when I buy ordinary things. I have both a Protonmail and a Tutanota for things I need to send securely, such as orders for gear.
