What about wide-grip pulldowns instead of chins? Well, wide-grip chinups provide better semi-stretch-point overload down near the bottom of the stroke—you can’t rock back as you can on pulldowns; however, you cannot alter the angle of your torso on chins as you can on pulldowns. Angling your torso back as you pull down puts lower-lat fibers in an advantageous position...

Because of the different fiber-activation patterns, suggest that those with lat-width problems do two sets of wide-grip chins, then one set of pulldowns with a slight backward lean. That should give you new lat development and flare for seam-stretching width. Note at the end . Sequence can be important.

Legs anyone in my gym we got 12 leg extensions machines of different brands I call it the Burger King of gyms have it your way lol so you do set of extensions to failure maybe when can’t do full rep do only 2-3 hold contraction for 3 Lower slow . On the ending of leg extensions hop off cuz only seconds for muscle to recover 30% you want to minimize - hop into your choice of full leg glute move many as can . Slow descents no bouncing . Slow ascent no momentum and constant tension no lock out . Always last set or two do 2-3 small partials . Hit deep fibers that have never been hit resulting in what science declares as hyper plasia - fiber splitting . Every one thinks heavy weight = size and they are not wrong . But that will make only fibers bigger . So..... you vary methods to avoid staleness , beat homeostasis grow big hard ripped . It will also burn more fat . I tell people I’ve trained hundreds and why they find that hard to believe I don’t know . Let’s see, I’m 53 been martial arts since age 5 , Weights age 12 and not for play . Never influenced by peers , toured world either by assignment or by choice . My social life was in dojo , gym or base camp . Hit my first bar not age 21 but 35 hated it . I don’t drink ever . No smoke . Many injuries so surgery prescribed meds but no addiction unless health and bodybuilding obsession is placed in categories or fighting systems as once I hit 16 I stopped the common modern day so called arts and pursued fighting systems where you had to be invited, no advertisements no YouTube videos etc . The Japanese katana for example is passed on by chuden by mouth. As is all tradition . Americans historically ruin everything. The father of Krav Maga wrote in major magazine how the Israeli combat he shared with world from obscurity was raped by Americans now is merely aerobic exercise. Karate do was created by Ginchin Funakoshi as means of physical fitness for elementary school gym class , Jigoro Kano did same with Judo ( removing lethal aspects of jujutsu removing sword ) while naive ignorant will say sword not practical it’s like weighted inertia practice for taijutsu ( body methods) to untie footwork , body to create torque and power for empty hand . I fact he renamed his synthesis of jujutsu to judo then taught the ground portion to Brazilian masters and so on . Am I putting it down ? No as I spent decades studying all . See I don’t have wife kids nice car or own home as my money was spent living or traveling other places for lessons etc . My point is you need to look within you to guide yourself . Bodybuilding is a journey into oneself that never ends . Unless of course you plan to quit young or die young. Listen to signs your body says, get labs . If you have health insurance if you don’t feel comfortable sayin doc I do roids- complaining of fatigue , dizziness so many things taking herbs supps ( cuz used them all) though 15 years my doc and I now on same page ) as you get older AAS, hgh , sarms all can help but can hurt too . Your needs change as you evolve and age . So stop listening too everything that people say . My advise learn you ! Start low slow , control urge to over do it ! Strong mind is strong body you only get one . Comes to a point where looking for special pill is plain naive . But guys here ten years still swear by it . Look within ! You are your greatest teacher always
